Just got one as well and it’s amazing🤘I’m 180 lbs and did 11 miles on very hilly terrain with it unlocked and battery only went down to 46%. Solid solid machine I can’t imagine needing to go much faster than this, great value, recommend moving the brake levers in a little more so you can better modulate them at the end of the lever since they are powerful
I’m a bit more, shall we say, “rotund” than you are, and in the name of science probably should have mentioned I’m pushing around 225 lbs/101’ish kg. I’m not sure if adjusting the lever will help although I’ll try. As best as I can tell the initial travel of the lever is activating the regen before the pads even hit the rotor, and it seems to be an on or off proposition versus something that can be modulated. When I turn off regen the brakes work fine but I lose the ability to control speed primarily via the throttle without needing the brakes except in rare occurrences.
They just sent a firmware update. I haven’t installed yet but will let you know. I’m getting used to the twitchy throttle (had the same problem with a motorcycle I used to own) but this reminds me I’m due for an update video!
@@TheBigHeavy that would be cool, I bought one of these for my uncle but he rides a twitchy throttle motorcycle so maybe it won't be much of an issue for him.
great review
Thanks!

@@TheBigHeavy gonna go ride tonight and I’ll post back how it goes
@@TheBigHeavy the front brake on my setup seems much more powerful than rear is yours the same?
I’ll give it a check tomorrow.
@@futureshock7425 same here. Front brakes way stronger then rear.
Do you know if they've fixed the sensitive throttle issue via firmware update?

I just installed the firmware yesterday. I'll do a quick video update but it doesn't seem to affect the throttle sensitivity in my initial testing.,
Watch those stop signs. lol
I wouldn’t be where I am today if I stopped at every stop sign!
