- Is it my Team or do I SUCK? Elo Hell is Real. Sombra players are having a tough time with the new Sombra so we are back to fix your Sombra gameplay.
This guide / tutorial is going over YOUR submitted replays and we decide if it's your team or if you suck. Right now we are doing this for DPS but feel free to submit any replay for VOD review and you might get in next time!

Ayy loved the video, your editor is top tier, this had me in tears.
I was definitely stuck in the old Sombra mindset of hacking first then attacking but after playing a bit more and watching some of your Sombra streams I've thankfully gotten out of that habit. Other than that thanks for the tips and thanks for having me!
9:10 I see this all the time from streamers VOD reviews, with them always freaking out about not taking advantage of low health targets. Do they just not remember that you can't see enemy health without damaging them first? Am I missing something? Metro has done this many times in this series and I can't help but groan every time it happens.

Nah honestly she needs a slightly better emp because it's really awkward right now.
As someone with over 500 Hours on Sombra; she has been gutted.
Her translocation is a lot more versatile and interesting but everything else from her kit is a HUGE downgrade and her Ultimate is by far and away the best Cosmetic from this Season...Pretty to look at; basically useless.

Yep, hack's there to force a shield down/matrix down/stop rez if mercy doing some fighter jet tech while doing the rez and so on. Bread and butter is now throw the cube of death at them and then shoot them. Preferably when they're busy, and even more preferably when they're being shot at while busy. And ult is basically the "remove stuff from play" ability/I really want to make sure you die move (vs some specific characters ... like ball, you hack them out of ball form, then when they get ball form back, you ult them to get them out of ball form again).
Oh and passively accept that about 50% of your games are going to be 3-4 people turning on you and your team doing nothing with the space as you fight/kite 3-4 people. Or even better somehow your team loses a 4v1/4v2.
Sombra is pretty balanced imo, maybe increase viruse cooldown and buff EMP
She is my main since ow1 when she came out and when I picked this game back up she still was my main, i found the new play style was very simple to pick up so seeing people struggle with her is very funny to me. Also they should make the projectile a of her translocator a bit smaller and she’s perfect.
I want them to make it so that you can throw virus while invisible and that causes you to leave invis but that's mainly because often times I have a good shot on someone but by the time I'm out of invis to actual fire it the opportunity is gone/harder to hit

@@collinschmitz256if the supports are looking and your team doesn't have a burst play it's kinda worthless because then they just live. Requires a lot more timing than just brainless spamming the tank,it also helps they can chase you now so hacking a Dva isn't tbe best idea.

@trippymlgjunkrat5749 this post was made 3 months ago,things were different and Sombra has been buffed since/the community got better at timing. What's with the "already", 3 months is literally an entire season and a half give or take.

Sombra is a great rework. This guy just doesn't know how to play Sombra
It’s not that she’s broken, but she can definitely spawn camp and 1v1 like 70% of characters. Bastion…. Lol spawn camped
Shes def. better, she requires more skills now to get value on but with that beeing said, her skill celling also increased
I'm still learning 2nd rework Sombra, myself. She's a lot better than her 1st rework at OW2's launch, which is 1 year ago. She's better to play as, and to play against. She's still support dps. But, she's no longer completely unless, or very annoyingly deliberating with no counter play.
Hack and EMP is just silence, again. Translocator is now, a more reliable movement ability. Stealth is now, a passive ability, which is her OW1 movement. Her weapon dmg is buffed. And, Virus is DOT dmg, which is 110 dmg or 120 dmg (impact dmg doubles on hacked targets). All of her abilities are pretty good. I think EMP's cast time needs to be reduced, it's way too slow to active. EMP was already a troll ult, if you're not with your team. And, it's STILL a troll ult with no follow up dmg.
I don't think EMP needs to have a long cast time, when Sombra is very easily countered, now. Anyone with high mobility CAN chase her, now. She's still good at 1v1 duels. But, it seems to me that her flanker playstyle... Has now completely changed. She had always need to play with her team, ever since OW1. But, now she has solo play potential without being too hard to counter, which she desperately needed. That's all I've found out for Sombra's current rework, so far. I'm a silver tank player, btw.
You could say that Metro caught a virus. Is he taking DOT dmg, now? Hope he doesn't get hacked. 'cause I sure have.

This video makes me see how fucked up the rank system is. I'm a high silver sombra players and everything he just commented like the hack virus thing or knowing how/where to teleport are thing I do constantly.. this guy is high gold (way higher than me) even thought as metro says he is making pretty bad mistakes
Then you have a different flaw that's holding you back. Maybe timing? Maybe target prioritization? Maybe aim? Who knows.
