People who are from Houston that are 47-60 years old know that this video where Testament is playing is in one of the most famous underground music venues in Houston history. The list of who’s played here is completely amazing Cannibal Corpse, Exhorder, Nirvana, GG Allin, VoiVod, Bad Brains, Obituary, Grave, Danzig, Vio-Lende, deadhorse, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Dead Milkman, Nasty Savage, The Accused, Soilent Green, Sepultura, Sadus, Death, Dark Angel, Kreator, Coroner and many many more. And these were some of their very first tours across America in a club that only held 200-300 people at the very most.
The Axiom was almost a home away from home for me. My most memorable show was a Sweet Nightmare's benefit show. headlined by Deadhorse and Morbid Scream.
I saw Testament at the Starry Night Club in Portland, Oregon on October 12, 1989.
It was their Practice What You Preach tour.
My mom went with my friends & I cuz she loves them too & I was showing her where the bathroom was when we ran into Chuck Billy!!!
I'm sure he was wondering why I brought my mom!
I was 21 at the time.
He signed my cassette tape sleeve & signed my moms arm! She should've had it tattooed on!!
We had the best time!!!
Only wish I could've met the rest of the band!
Gotta say my friends were jealous they didn't go to the bathroom too!!!
I was also surprised at how tall Chuck is! I'm pretty tall for a girl but he towered over me!
Fond memories Mr. Billy, I thank you kindly!!! 💋
💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️
They came thru our area then too -- about 3 wks aft your show -- Buffalo NY. The pit went crazy that night b/c Chuck must've ridden it about a dozen times! He was a lot thinner but still a pretty big dude!
This Testament Cover Version Of Nobody's Fault By Aerosmith Is Certainly The Reason Why I Listen To Aerosmith In The First Place. BAD ASS SONG. GO TEAM TESTAMENT!!!!!
@MartinRodriguez-ox7vh : Still Listen To This Song Occasionally. 🤘🎸🤘‼️
This song ROCKS! A cover of the best song off the best Aerosmith album on a great Thrash album. Testament kicks ass!
100 thumbs up...couldn't agree more
I watched this on headbangers ball in 88 89. Love the German guy telling them to go on.
For the record, was he really German? Not sure where I got that.
Awesome cover! They really nailed it-big time!
MTV When they played music videos instead of having garbage like teen mom.good times
I love how they take the piss out of themselves. Great fun, this video
Still one of my favorite songs!!!
Man, 1980s rock and metal was just about the true reprise of 1970s music, only much more exciting and hydraulic!
skolnick is amazing true virtuoso. I'd love to see a duel between him and rocky george.
Kevin Carpenter o Yes
ONE MORE REASON TO LOOOVE DRUMMERS !!!! BLESS YOU LOUIE CLEMENTE😈❤💋
Greg Christian is an absolute Beast so underrated... he's right up there with DD VERDI from Overkill
I can't believe this was on mtv
Good memories from album #2

Awesome album
I remember seeing this video on headbands ball for the first time and thought wow, these guys are phenomenal!!!
This is a great cover & funny as hell video .
Classic lineup 🤘🏻
Testament rocks
I miss the shit outta old mtv🤘😃
havent seen this one in years
Great cover!!
I havent seen this cover for decades !!
Testamentis consistently better at doing covers then any other band i ever heard. And I mean by FAR.
Type O Negative are also famous for doing covers that sound like their own material, and, dare I say, better than the original songs!
beautiful music i love it
It would have been cool to see them at The Summit. That's alright, still seen them. H-Town baby!!
Long Live The Summit!!
Shouldn't have been on the album?! From Wiki:
""We barely got done with our first couple of tours on that first album cycle when we were informed we have to have another album, soon! [...] We got spooked in a way, because we never had to come up with music on the fly. [...] By the time we finally recorded the album, we neglected to look at our recording contract. We actually had it in our contract that there's a minimum of 40 minutes of music, and we clocked in under that! [...] Our album was promptly sent back...we added the Aerosmith tune, we added those little instrumentals, we extended a couple of sections...that was all done so we wouldn't be in breach of contract."
- Alex Skolnick, 2013 via Metal Injection.[2]
That crowd: 🍻🤘👏TESTAMENT!!!
WOW.what an amazing cover...an aerosmith song in metal.nice.i think the singer tryed his ass to sing this one right.
September 2024❤
l..l Great cover, like ever TestamenT l..l
Saw them live about a yr after this vid was released -- club show in Buffalo on the PPWYP tour. Chuck must've rode the pit about a dozen times and we had to hold him up -- and was NOT a small dude back then either!!
Awesome
Omg your so young WOW
love
yes
I went to the Axiom once in Houston .
Great venue. I am kinda nerdy also.
Grew up on FM 1960 . Not a radio station ,
Like 1070 am Z- ROCK. Stay on the Rock 989 FM Kansas city om the Audacy app.
Dare in the morning. 989 let's add testament to 989 the rock Leavenworth

Good song, killer video, but ripping it from the Seen Between the Lines DVD might have given better results in quality... oh well. Can't wait for the new album!
I love this video ❤
Ah…..the old Axiom……that’s kinda cool…..never saw them there….but the Vatican and Unicorn shows were still amazing
What else could it be..
I had the trippinest dream too!
Cuando los videos caseros se hacían con una VHS... 😁 😁 😁
Nice
Houston Texas
Haven't seen this video in decades, fuckin awesome, thank you
muito foda esse som
Solid cover version! For some reason, however, the original by AEROSMITH sounds even more heavy. Must be something in the Groove. Just locked in tight like a screw fastened close to breaking point. Still a good job by TESTAMENT.
OLD. Gahh reminds me of being a teenager in Detroit hahaha
11 years later I find the same video and wonder why they shot something with absolutely zero to do with the song...and then..there I am.
Funny video from a Kick ass band as Testament!!
Wanna know whats really funny? The Summit, where Ive seen Testament, is now the worlds second largest megachurch
Fun Fact: In addition to Testament, which Aerosmith likes, Metallica is also one of their favorite bands. They are the only Metal bands that Aerosmith likes.
Dude has a lords of the new church jacket on lol stivlives
Nobody will ever be Skolnick not even Joe satriani himself
the Axiom
This video was disturbingly prophetic.
HD
Lars ulrich on drums
Louie Clemente
The summit Houston Texas before it became the Lakewood church
These guys kick metallica's ass. Suck about their legal issues!
Both bands are great. Is it some sort of badge of honor to diss the more popular band? Why can't you simply like both?
because you can only swing from one band's nuts at a time
No they don't dummy
D'aww Chuck
OLDSCHOOL FOOTAGE
Wow,great video quality:(
Always interpreted the concept of this video as Chuck Billy's LSD trip. What an awesome video when I was a teenager in the late 1980s!
Is it just me or does the first 50 seconds remind anyone else of the Hanson brothers in Slap Shot?
Instead of toys there's instruments & a camera.
the original song is from Aerosmith, rocks 1975
It's off to doggodaycare in the caninecaboose🐕
WHAT WAS CHUCK REALLY DREAMIN ABOUT ? THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW LOL !!!!!!😈💔💋
Fluent. That's an interesting word there; Origin: "1580-90 Latin fluent- (stem of fluēns ) flowing, present participle of fluere; see -ent" {~from dictionary (dot) com} Fluent, yes, in American English, Pittsburghese English, Georgia Drawl, and Virginian, but sadly not in my Native Mohawk, or Gaelic. ...Rats. Oh fuckin well, This is a video of Testament covering an old Aerosmith tune, and they cover it well, fuckin hell fuckin yeah they fuckin well do, damnit.
\m/ (>

How the hell do you even compare Testament to Aerosmith. Thrash metal compared to rock. Like apples to oranges. I don't see the point.
well, the original nobody's fault was more metal than this to my ears, it sounds more menacing and powerful, better produced and played
Weegie nuts?
aerosmiths is way better
bikers fault
Way better version than the Tocic Twins!!!
No hace falta demostrarlo, ahora dedicate a escuchar la buena musica en vez de criticar la calidad de los videos gay
They're version is first one I've heard...original Areosmith version sucks!!
This cover (Aerosmith), Sounds like Skid Row to me!.. Chuck Voice sounds like Sebastian Bach
Who was the dude holding the camera? Was that Eric Peterson?
Yep.
Best Aerosmith cover EVER recorded . Period .
I'll give you a C- on the cover................check please.
filmed at the Axiom in Houston
Hellyeah! i remember the Axiom \,,/
2013*
My left ear feels left out :(
Yeah, it's nice having a video, but it sounds like shit, mixwise
