Really is a lovely line. Been a few years since my last visit, so was great to get back and finally see some steam on the line (last visit was during their diesel gala, which was another superb show).
Really was a superb event. Not for the intro, believe that was recorded at the West Somerset. Though I'm sure some of the sounds recorder over the weekend will come in handy for future edits
It could be from my perspective idk the line too well but some of the drivers seemed a little heavy on the regulators favouring acceleration and coasting rather than a steady performance the GWR pararie essentially did a burnout away from that signal it just seems a little hard on the loco IMO
Not complaining here as it's not often you get to hear an engine working, all shots were taken from up-hill locations. But think it was a case we had been waiting a while for them at the signal
I love this place 💚 Beautiful filming, lovely locos, Autumn in the Forest 💚

Wonderful stuff, some beautiful shots and great sound. I love the echoes of the whistles, is that where you recorded the sound used in your intro?
