Her acceptance reminds me of today when I made an obvious mistake during Color Guard Competition by dropping my flag. It was embarrassing for like 5 seconds and I immediately moved on, which was the first time I’d ever actually accepted any mistakes I’ve ever made. I love the fact that she was still applauded and loved despite her flaws, this helps much more than people know.

Aw, I’m not familiar so I don’t know who the people on the side were (I’m guessing coach + mom ? Or both coaches) but it warmed my heart that they still smiled and were like “it’s okay, you’ll get it another time”. It’s the best feeling when someone is proud of you for trying, even if you fail.
