Being a game designer works the EXACT same way. I say that because I am one, but I always wanted to start making manhwa as well as make games and anime and EVERYTHING!
I haven't even finished this yet and I just want to say your job is something I want to achieve too ^^ The videos you make help me a lot. Thank you! Keep it up 😊 (P.S, These In-depth videos about manga/manhwa are my faves!)
Great video! I’m a 3D animator between work, and so planning on doing a monthly updated WEBTOON to practice storyboarding and drawing. It’s sort of relieving to hear that the higher views/WEBTOON original stories have so many people working on them. It means that it’s not a fair thing to compare what I’m doing to those, and I’m going to fail a lot at the beginning in order to get better. But hearing how the roles get divided helps me plan out how much time I should plan for each part.
Right now I'm waiting for the manhwa "The Breaker". It's been on hiatus, and I've been waiting for years. Season 3 got confirmed to being worked on a couple months ago.
Thank you I really want to make a story about a guy who makes blank people to somebody special like he go through a journey to make people who lost their will to do something special and he makes them return them
I'm eccentric and I recently started storyboarding for a manhwa style isekai based off a meme I saw in the comments section on a manhwa I was reading. "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Truck and Transported to a World of Magic and Monsters"...working title but not as weird as some of the titles I've seen.
I WAITED! Thank you for such a video, I am just looking for a lot of similar and not only videos in order to understand where to start the path to the development of dreams and to do a lot of works in different forms. We are waiting for the video and about the rest of the tips and stuff, master :D
I read a lot and your very inspirational for me Brandon. I would love hearing more about things like this as I read a lot, and would like doing this in my future as my job. Are you planning on doing a video on novels, and what goes into those? Or the ways of publication of novels/manga would be amazing.
Thank you, Brandon, for this in-depth video, it helps in understanding more about their process. 😊I got some questions, do you have any tips to win the webtoon contest or to be picked as webtoon original? And do you know any community or platform where we can find artists to collaborate with? Plus, I've heard that some people commission artist per panel/page and there are some who will divide their profit. So how do you suggest the payment works best if you're working in a team?
I would like to see a video on paneling/getting ideas for the story board because I am absolutely terrible at doing panelling and have to look at a manga just to draw the panels so a video on that would be really useful
This was dope video. Could you also make one on how to properly script a manga/webcomic and how to articulate how you want your panels to look like on paper with your artist?
Do you have a guide for people with an story board but no drawing skills at all? Like starting taking inspiration from others easy drawing styles and learning to change it into your own style and learn to draw by yourself? I got a story but cant draw at all
I want to create stuff like manga it's just I have bad handwriting and I'm not good at art I've had people say it looks like the beginning art of attack on tittan. Also all the stories I write are short or I don't have many ideas most of the time. I'd like to team up with one of my many artist friends to create a comic/graphic novel with me. I'm also working on like 5 or 6 different things at once.
Just in case to tell you manhwa and webtoon are completely different things you can still be manhwa artist it's that webtoon doesn't just do manhwa it also creates American comics or manga inspired comics
If someone is interested in creating a manhwa I would like if someone shares a script with me {not a rough idea but instead designed and designated chapters already planned} Can't promise any money in start but yeah if it gets popular may be we will make some cash out of our hobby
I have a question - does anybody know that if you want to write a story how to publish it as a manga (not online), because I began to write a story and was curious how to do it?
I'm curious how much money you gotta pay each of these people. Cause I want to hire someone to do the drawing part of the story, but Idk if it's something I can afford or not.
YASSS I've been wanting this vid thank u!!!!! Ur vids are always so inspiring and I learn alot from them!!!!! Looking forward to future vid!🏳️🌈🍞🙋 I want to achieve my dreams too!
so it's not like if I wanted to buy begining after the end and had all the pictures there it would be a normal book where I read the story so I can get a book somewhere where it will be drawn or I can't thank you for the answer
This is great timing. I have developed a new found aspiration to write, illustrate and create my own manhwa
Ayo me too!!
There was a great man who said a great quote. “If you have an idea that you genuinely think is good, don't let some idiot talk you out of it.”
What is the manhwa/comic at 0:10
Same! ❤

More marketing strategies, core elements of a successful novel/story, and Fujimoto updates would all be great videos.

It's out now isn't it?
@@zebrabitch7821 yes it is. I haven't read it yet though. I've got to read the story again because I forgot a lot over the years.
Flawed Almighty and Get Schooled are my favorite WEBTOONs rn
I bought your course 101, it was pretty insightful. I had no idea you did godgame, that was the series that got me to pay attention to voyceme!
Thank you I really want to make a story about a guy who makes blank people to somebody special like he go through a journey to make people who lost their will to do something special and he makes them return them

My favorite WEBTOON is sweet home
My favorite webtoons currently are the boxer and weak hero
This was dope video. Could you also make one on how to properly script a manga/webcomic and how to articulate how you want your panels to look like on paper with your artist?
Thx Brandon
Man Love ur work😁
wait, one webcomic is made from more than one person?, damn i thought they were superpersons making all by their own, cool
Could you make a video on how to make the script for webtoon? It's hard to find ressources about panels, sounds, bubble etc
My favorite webtoon right now is useless villain it’s really good a recommended read

Sweet home is a W
Could we see what a page of one of your scripts looks like? To see how you describe the panels and stuff, I think that would be informative
5 to 10 series at the same time!!?
I love mahanwa
Is there a course on how to make webtoon and not manga?
Does anyone know what's the song in the beginning?
This popped up at such a good time. I'm currently in the process of making my own webtoon. This informational content really helped.
Just in case to tell you manhwa and webtoon are completely different things you can still be manhwa artist it's that webtoon doesn't just do manhwa it also creates American comics or manga inspired comics

Just a question but what if its a beginner manga author or artist or anything like that, how do they get other people to work with them?
What software is used to do this bro ?
Solo levelling and UnOrdinary
Solo leveling and Boxer

Hi Brandon, for writing, do u prefer 1st or 3rd person? I like 3rd but many japanese light novels are 1st. Thx!
More. ❤
I have a question - does anybody know that if you want to write a story how to publish it as a manga (not online), because I began to write a story and was curious how to do it?
Well you could publish ur works to bookstores or libraries, theres tutorials on yt btw
honestly I would just skip over coloring & just add only a colored cover page. too much time, too much work
I'm curious how much money you gotta pay each of these people. Cause I want to hire someone to do the drawing part of the story, but Idk if it's something I can afford or not.
honestly as an artist I get it so if I teamed with someone I would do it for free until we both got paid anything from webtoon or other jobs.
@@whoosh4302 What kinda art style do you use?
@@OffensiveGen anime-like with realistic shading
