Griff-ith ap Llew-e-llen. I’m not even going to try to get the LL sound across to you. Also, Caradog/Caradoc was a Welsh king. I believe it is also the Welsh name for Carratacus. The guy who upset the Romans for so long
DTG Productions because Welsh is an old Celtic language. The type the would’ve been spoken in Britain when the Romans turned up. English is a much newer language, taken from old Norse, French and German mainly
Great series, loved watching it. But what do you mean by mentioning non-noble Battanian archers who are inferior to all other archers? Basically you're right because they are non existent
As a Welshman that’s first language Welsh and names after Llewelyn I’m so ready to take these Battanians and kick some arse 👌 the area seems to be based on our area in North Wales the castles and landscape are very much the same
I don't speak Welsh either but from hearing it spoken by people who do I think ap is pronounced more like awp or op I'm also pretty sure the double L makes the flem sound like in Hebrew or Arabic. On the first name I have no idea, my guess is Griff-odd.
They call them Celtic and give them Celtic names, yet the armour reminds me of Saxons, the name reminds me of Batavians, and their troop types are also quite Germanic. I wish taleworlds would stop trying to sell them as Celtic.
@krustygaming5887 actually, the recent update made wildlings super strong. Set them to engage and they will throw Javs while back pedaling. They can go toe to toe with legionaries this way. Though you do take losses in the melee Or better yet, use 30 out of your 50 to lure in the legionaries, and flank with the other 20 for almost no loses.
dawg what is this editing? im trying top listen to you and play at the same time and you're awful audio cuts are literally distracting me. i forget what you where even talking about now because that awful editing was so blatant.
I like your attempt at Welsh, i cant say if its accurate or not, but it sounded pretty good. Awesome Video!
Awesome, thank you!
Battanians are cool. Good video. Do the Vlandians next!
Excellent video, very informational. Keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!

I get a lot of generic Celtic vibes with underlying Welsh tones for sure. And a little Scottish thrown in for fun.
How were you able to sit on the throne I can't no matter how hard I try.
Battanians are the most powerful faction
Im welsh and it was a good try ,most people dont attempt to pronounce our princes names.
