the reason I came to like him is how he carries himself in general and that he can actually act and does look good.

Rob was so kind to everyone... it was really great! I love how down-to-earth he is!
You can tell that he's kind of taken aback by all the attention, but when you see him in person, you really get the feeling that he really appreciates all of us fans!

You are wrong. Rob would look the way he does no matter what part he played and you should thank Twilight for giving him to us. Of course whoever played Edward would have been loved.....but Rob deserves the screams and the love.....more so than any other man in the world.
He Also Played "Cedric Diggory" in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2005.

I've actually never really thought hard about that, I've just accepted it as normal, lol. You're right, that is weird when you really think about it. I guess it's like... cheering... or something. Like "woo, I'm really excited!"

I TOTALLY agree!!I think it is like that, because Edward is kind of a dream for them, they'll nnever have (sorry, it sounds very mean, but it is like that) so they totally love Edward/ Robert. He is their "prince", their perfect man

They themselves wouldn't want to be screamed at, lol! I don't know a person that would. I'm sure it must be pretty scary...I think I would just collapse one day from it being so overwhelming. It would just be too much.

but you see the reason they're all excessivly obsessed is because for years they've been in love with the character, Edward, who is super sexy and peeerfect, from the books... so now that there's a face to put on Edward.... chaos ensues!! ...it's all misplaced Edward love (even though i think Rob is absolutely adorable!!)

It's amazing how an actor can actually play in a movie, and these girls piss themselves just seeing his face... They need to calm the hell down. He's just like any other person except for the fact that he's a professional actor. Yeah, I guess everybody just reacts to things differently. Only time I'm going to scream like that, is if I'm running for my life. Otherwise, not so much. Maybe I just have to much pride, but I barely can see myself asking for an autograph from anybody. I remember when I was at a pizza place, and Usher walked by me, and all I said was 'wassup' and he said hi back, and that was it. Maybe that's because I'm not a big fan of his, but still. And I'd do the same to Rob, if I were to brush by him.
I don't know anything about Robert Pattinson. But the only thing that makes me hate that kind of obssession is that when watching Twilight, my girlfriend preffered to watch him more than to see me. Fuck that western sense of beauty.
@goforward Yup, I think that's a good comment here. I can't see any sense in screaming for him or almost fainting. I would simply be myself and treat him like a real person. And not screaming on him. Come on, I don't scream at other peoples when I meet them on the street or something. And I would not scream at someone because he plays a good looking character or is soooo famous. Ugh

I understand little girls being really excited to meet the ones they like. But, I don't quite understand it when I see adults or older teenagers act like that. Maybe it's a bit of vanity for me, but I can't picture myself running into him and screaming my head off or acting strange. I would probably just say 'wassup,' or 'how are you.' One time, Usher walked right by me in Atlanta, and all I said was 'hey,' and he said it right back...and we kept it moving, lol. But, I'm not hating on them.
