Still more of an urgent "save the world" feel than Forces 😆
That CPS-2 sound is just amazing.
Oh man, this one just wipes the floor with the Genesis version.

Oddly enough, the fast tempo makes it sound like _Stardust Speedway: Bad Future_ (US Version.) It really sounds like a desperate race to the finish! 🚥👍
The way I see it:
Scrap Brain Zone (MD) is from Robotnik's prespective, sitting powerful at his metallic throne and thinking he's finally won; which explains why that version feels more menacing.
Scrap Brain Zone (GG) is from the prespective of Sonic, wanting to end the doctor's evil doings once and for all. He has had enough of this doctor, after all, this isn't the first time they met; which explains why it sounds full of urgency and determination!
I love how it's slowed down just a tiny bit.
Also the strings add to the over all sinister-ness the track creates.
American Sonic looks like he's mere seconds away from killing someone.
I like how it's a slightly faster PAL version

The Master System has This track too, they are the same, as both Game gear and master system have the same soundtrack, great Remix, its pretty good btw!

has a wario master of disguise feel too it, especially allergia gardens.
Man, that remix sounds a lot like a song that would be dropped on 90s or 2000s, I'm not even kidding, the instruments make it more accurate
It's a banger
Even though it might be a long time before it happen, I would love for a Sonic Mania sequel to take some of the zones from Sonic Pocket Adventure and make them in name only.
* Neo South Island - Could be reimagined to be a mix of Emerald Hill and Rooftop Run. Theme could be Green Hill Classic from Forces
* Secret Plant - Could be more of an underground bunker mixed in with not only a chemical creation facility but maybe a bomb factory. Could have it’s theme be Chemical Plant Classic from Forces
* Aquatic Relix could be much more of a forest based level, maybe have Sonic run through a swamp, jumping from tree to tree in Act 1 with Act 2 taking place in the ruins which could be redesigned to look less like Aquatic Ruin. It could use Labyrinth Zone’s theme from 8-Bit Sonic 1
* Gigabtic Angel could have the inside areas simply just take from Master 8-Bit Sonic 1’s Scrap Brain in appearance where the walls are black compared to the green in the Genesis version. It’s theme could simply be 8-Bit Sonic 1’s Scrap Brain theme.
When your going to war with a robot be like:
