  • The chip sector is undergoing a sector-wide correction as concerns grow around slowing demand for the products. Moor Insights and Strategy Founder & CEO Patrick Moorhead to discuss why he believes markets are getting "ahead of [themselves] with some of the doom and gloom."
Moorhead notes "there's still this insatiable need" for semiconductor products, saying consumers "just can't get enough". He notes that often times the products require a pairing accross companies, so the demand is still there. While uncertainty persists around headwinds such as inflation and geopolitical tensions, he says this has forced investors to adopt "a wait and see attitude" in regards to this sector.
When asked if he believes markets are overeacting Moorehead tells Yahoo Finance: "I think this is just a cautious blow."

Great video, I have a quick question. I am an aspiring trader, I am looking study some traders and earn off their expertise rather than investing myself and lose money emotionally. Whats your take on copy trading? Do people really make money? Just looking for some reassurance.
    Thank you!

Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder

The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. My friend just pulled in more than $84k last month alone from his investment with his advisor. That is how people are able to make such huge profits in the market

Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her resume.

    Short this sector short term!
Look at the 2 year yield
    Hit 5%
    Strong signal to sell
Actually believe the feds will raise rates

Agreed. The clear evidence shows IC industry is approaching its late cycle.

This guy sounds like a layman. TSMC and ASML are on the top of IC supply chain; now both of their financial reports show early warning of IC industry's coming weakness. Once the leaders' growth slows down; you can expect the second and third tier players getting close to a recession. After all, remember the microchip industry is very cyclical.
