Here is a throwback back from the past. I made this video back in 2016 when I first started down the path of designing and building my own whole home uninterrupted battery backup system. This series of videos covers the build, upgrade, and challenges with the system and why I choose the configuration I did. I’ll go into detail about how the system works and why I went down this crazy path. The system currently uses a 48v battery bank with an Aims 6000 watt 48v inverter with 120v AC output. I also leveraged several transfer switches to allow me to switch between grid and generator power as well as grid and inverter power. Tune in for all the seamless transitions and details.
