That is not just an e-cart...instead, a symbol of dedication, enthusiasm, spirit, love, example of fatherhood..
Thank you for your kind words
One of best videos in and on RUclips ever! The look on the boys face? Best thing a father could experience!
Thank you for the kind words😀
Can l ! HAVE ! My Drill ! Back !?? Son !
@@davidwillard7334 Ahaha, Amazing!
Ralfie went from a Red Rider BB gun to a drill motor go cart. Cool. Now you won't shoot your eye out.
My exact thoughts! 😅💜
Great job the best part is seeing your son smile 🫵👍💪🫵🫡
Little Ralphie loves it! Good dad.
That is a cool concept for a electric cart, imagine batteries getting so good that they are as small as a drill battery but can drive a 10 hp motor. So that when the battery dies, you can hot swap them and keep on going while charging the standby one.
The smile of your son, is the best part of your video
OUTSTANDING! I ALWAYS DREAMED OF A CART LIKE THAT. BUILT A COUPLE BACK IN THE 50'S. THEY PALE IN COMPARISON TO THIS MASTERPIECE!!
Great build. When I was a kid, my dad taught me to weld. Our first project was a gocart. I learned a lot. This video reminded me of that time.
Good memories👍😀
May God bless your father. Great training, great memories!
Beautiful design! A dad who loves his son!
I honestly didn't think there was enough torque in that drill to make to go-cart go that fast!
Amazing job. It's brilliant how you made the throttle foot controlled!
Thank you!
I have bragged to my wife in this video the whole time! Well done sir, well done!
Nice build! Especially liked the use of hand brakes for pedals ..
Thank you!
That's not as easy as you made it look. I started something very similar years ago and never finished it because life got in the way. Very well done, not doubt your child/children are having lots of fun in their Go Kart. DeWalt should throw a few free batteries your way.
What ! Poor ! EXCUSE ! Is that !??
@@davidwillard7334 fr bro jealous of smth
@@davidwillard7334 he lost both of his arms and legs when he got ran over by a truck when he was trying to save a grandma crossing the street, that is Life's excuses for you
Im in the process of making my son a drill powered 406 unimog replica. Using a trimer rotatory gear box at 50/1 im aiming at about 5ish mph but a load of torque so my son can tow a bag of compost and feel he's helping out while having fun. lol
Looking forward to see the result on RUclips :)
Seems when you stomp the throttle, say GO! That little drill motor says YES SIR!!
Love the high squeaky voices in the background
Awesome gift to handmake for your child! Fatherhood rules!
Thank you!
well thats just the greatest idea a man has ever made!
Very well done! I’m sure they loved that Christmas gift. Great job sir.
great acceleration with the little guy on it.. nice work.
That is a cool build the quality is excellent the finish product is beautiful, made Dewalt proud and son happy nice job
Amazing work!!!
Congratulation!!!
You are one of the Best father ever! :)
Greetings from Hungary
Kris
That's is so successfully executed. Congrats!
Great job! Maybe a chain tensioner would be a good upgrade so you can change gears on the fly. Seems really fast off the mark though like wow!
You sir, are an artist, an great engineer, thinker, problem solver, builder. I’m amazed by your skill and inspired to try something. I’d be happy if it turns out even a tenth as cool as that😂.
Thank you for kind words. Keeps me going😀
This gets me mad. I always think I make something cool, but than this comes along and blows everyone out of the water. Good job sir. I'm truly impressed by tour skill and craftsmanship and detail.....WOW
Please, don’t get mad, but inspired🙂🙂
@@grovsnekkeren2809 I dont think he mean it literally. It's like "Wow! How come i didnt think of that? or "Brooo~ that's awesome" or "H-Ho-How?!" so on and so forth.
@@official_zane6302 Yes, I get it now😀
Easy upgradeable with a bigger engine when he gets a little older :)
I am truly amazed at your skills and professionalism !!
Thank you, David!
So awesome. What a great project for your son.
Thank you😀
This is a very clever and beautiful build!
I've got all the parts...maybe i should build one for my daughter...!
If I didnt see it I would hv never believed it nice work so awesome I want one
that is great and it takes off QUICK!!!
Dewalt should literally sponsor you
They should! Both money and every tool they got😎
Its all about torque, spin its fun.
Great diy mate
Really quick your kids are really enjoying the fun built not bought excellent job 😁
He did not build the drill so the whole built not bought saying is gay.
Beautiful, you did an amazing job.
not sure how much weight will deteriorate the speed of a drill V18, but as the kid gets older, you could just cut the base in the middle, and add an aluminum frame to stretch the Go-Kart and add longer cables for the gas and breaks.
something I always thought of doing, but by the time I got around to it, my kids were all grown. now it is just a thought for myself, but a drill will not push a 200lb guy around easily. lol
Great idea! I did a few test runs, and it had no problem pushing me up step hills, and I’m 200lbs😃😃😁
Very impressive and fun!
Excellent build and superb quality.
Thank you
omg that looks so compact
Now... YA GOTTA MAKE ME ONE!
Unbelievable..... Well done sir!
Thank you! You are far too kind😀
Congratulations on this great creative creation and great inspiring informative video creation too! I wish you another successful day and, of course, everyone in strength, health and peace! I wish you good luck!
👍🍀🇭🇺🌞☝️
WELL THATS WHOLESOME I DARE YOU TO PUT A 60V GRINDER ON BACK IT PROBALY DO WHEELIES
One lucky little boy 👦 😁
Hadir nyimak bosku mantap👍🙏
Great father, nice build.
Take the tire off the rim and take that fancy impact to the spoke nipples. They remove very easy for a complete breakdown. 600$ giant bicycle😱
Great quality project ! 👍 Now how about a follow-up with a test drive, that would be so nice ! 😁
The test drive is at the end if you watched it. 👍
I’ll do a follow up soon😁😁
Nice work mate and some great use of simple materials one can find around the house👍🏽
You can never have TOO many clamps!!!!🤔😁😁
Word!
Awesome engineering. World class 😂😂👍💙💙
Job well done Sir . Pulido !
Okkkk Mr Elon you made that look too EZ very impressive
great project
Wonder is it still going after 2 years :) does it have enough torque. Can you share. Thanks for making amazing video.
Torque is no problem. The kid has grown too big for it though. Need to build it bigger😜
very good sir, I wish you more success and smooth greetings from Indonesia 🙏😁
Beautiful. thank you!
Cracking job,I made one from a small chain saw engine.
Cool! That’s my next project. Do you have any pictures or video?
Nice build!
Amazing work, now make a milwaukee powered one, the Milwaukee has so much more torque. Great job!!
Thank you! You do great work as well. I’ve watched all your videos and got a lot of inspiration!
We had a milwaukee drill up to 20mph, almost too fast for my kids. I should have filmed myself making them also. I tried selling the go karts but health and safety here in the uk wouldn't allow it..
Aha! I waited a long time for you to publish where and when you were going to sell them. So sorry you weren’t able to do so. On the other hand I can see that they might be dangerous for some kids
Lots of great ideas here 👍 great build
Thank you😀😀
Đạp ga dính ghế luôn, gắt đấy 😂
Your work is neat sir👏
Very interesting. The performance seem to be ok too. Perhaps a bit on the torquey side.
Yes, it would probably have no trouble going off-roading in a mud pit😜😜
DeWalt makes a 60v mixing drill has alot more torque. Could probably step up the gearing and really get moving. But its pricey.
They should send me one right away😀😀
Awesome ride👍
Fair play
Wont be trying this one . Looks good though
Looks familiar....
Yup! Inspired by the best!
nice build wish my kid was still littel, question does the flex battery makes a difference in power or just last longer???
It gives more power and last a little bit longer
How long does the battery lasts
Love stuff like this the kids was well made up. 🤗👍
Bloody good grandaddy!
Norsk kvalitet🇧🇻🇧🇻💪💪💪
Cool, but I think the 60volt circular saw dewalt has might work better.
old comment but the circular saw might not work because most are not pressure sensitive. its 0 to 100. then we would also have to mod the saftey witch too
Amazing!
Amazing! Well done 👏🏻
AWSOME! YOUR THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD SO AM I.
YES YOU ARE!
Keren banget bang senggol dong 😁👍👍👍
I got a buddy with a couple broke in half Dewalt impact guns thinking bout makin a ebike out of one em. Is that crazy. Dewalt website claims the Xr 1/4 inch has 1,825 in-lbs of torque that would be an insane amount of power. Wouldn't be for long rides just little rips down the road but I'm thinking torque monster
It could work, but isn’t the high torque due to the impact mechanism? I dont’t think an impact drill has the same gear as an ordinery drill so you may get trouble, but I don’t know for sure. Let me know how it goes
Nice!
Good job!
Really cool!
Very good
Super easy, I am gonna build one
Sure thing! Build plans in the description👍😁
Utruleg flott. Flott verkstad og mykje godt utstyr du har å hjelpa deg med!
Takk for det😀
I'm not understanding how the gears work. Is the rider able to change gears, or do you have to move the chain manually and adjust the slack with the pivoting bracket?
Yes, you have to do it manually. But you could also use the gears on the drill. This model has three speeds.
What an amazing video. Tv standard and reminds me of my cart that my uncle and dad built. It was well engineered and had a leather seat with metallic purple wings. Great work to the production team of this vid
Thank you!
got the same idea this year, nice work :) thx for the built instruction :) love it like your son :)
Thanks! Follow me on Instagram @grovsnekkeren. I will post detailed plans soon😉
Muito bom o projeto , ótima qualidade na montagem da estrutura . parabéns
Is that Ralphie from A Christmas Story?
Mooi man!
super me encanto
amazing !, you can add reverse stick on it ?
Yes. With a little bit of ingenuity I think you should.
Parádne autíčko. Páči sa mi.
A very lucky boy
기발합니다. 🤪👏👏👏👏👏
Absolutely love this project. So much so I'm trying to build one myself. My only question is what size is the rear axle? What size hub have you used. Appreciate any info. Thanks.
