i’m so saddened about her passing, she was such a nice lady and always interacted with fans like we were friends. i’d met her several times and we’d sing karaoke together a couple times. i will miss her a lot.

I think the next victim should be Epiphany! They may have to reshoot some scenes due to the actress’ untimely demise, as they shoot 5 weeks in advance.
She was such a beloved actress and character…usually they don’t replace actors who die suddenly in real life. Like Neil Winters on Y&R, perhaps Epiphany will have a special episode in which the tears will be real, and each character can have throw-back scenes with them and her over the years. Even renaming the nursing program after the character, etc
Perhaps a stand-in laying in the hospital bed after her surgery from being hooked…where they don’t show her face…then the characters coming in, holding her hand and walking down memory lane, while encouraging her to fight, but we all know the outcome.
Then having a funeral honoring her. In my opinion the actress is too loved to be replaced. RIP Sonya🤗

Very sad to see the loss of such a talented performer. Even sadder to see that GMA did not do a better job in their research in telling her credits. In the story you said that she was on General Hospital up until 2020. When in fact she was still on General Hospital as recently as the last couple of months.
