The way I'm looking at if the defense can hold teams around 17 to 20 points a game that's a win...Offensively we should be able to put up 30 a game fairly easy just come in shape say dialed in believe in are new OC and DC they will put us in much better positions to succeed and the Bird's are back! Fly Eagles Fly 🦅
Concerning Dean, it's like trying to put lipstick on a pig. He's is too small to be an effective NFL linebacker. Roseman has no clue IMO at what it takes to acquire quality linebacking support. Still the weakest part of the Eagles game. The sad part is that it is fixable, but Roseman refuses to place a priority on good LB's and previously corners who can both cover and tackle. DeJean and Mitchell might be able to fix the CB poor performance going forward.
Bradberry is done and Slay is not far behind. Time to bring in the younger guys. There will be a learning curve. Agree, Ringo might be a better safety than a corner. Too stiff in coverage to be a corner.
We need someone else for safety to boost that position. Need try to find a trade partner with Bradberry get what we can, bc I dont want to lose one of our young good CB's so Bradberry can play backup safety and CB. I think it should be Simmons they bring in that would make us go from good to really solid🤔...a SB caliber secondary and if those young men up front can get going...oh yeah it could be top 10 defense for sure... LET'S GOOO BIRDS! AS ALWAYS FLY EAGLES FLY 💚
@@BigWilliamNotTheLittleOnebrown is hurt to start the year and CJ gets hurt every year.. love CJ but him playing a whole season is doubtful... Bring Simmons in and this secondary gonna be scary
@@ryancampbell1847 the secondary is already fine. What does Johnny Mac always say? Start up costs Sydney is gonna be fine they already say he’s ready the eagles are just being cautious. Bring in Simmons and do what then? Move reed to the bench or move cj to the slot? Then what? Sit both young corners? They’re eventually gonna have to play. What if slay leaves next year then we’ll be having the same conversation next year no one will be proven and people will be clamoring for the next big name free agent secondary player
Safety is incredibly important in Fangio’s system, which focuses on disguising coverages to take away pre-snap reads (Cover 2, Cover 6, etc) and a lot of shifting after the snap into the coverage called. Having two top-tier safeties is important, especially against the better teams with two 1000-yd receivers. CJGJ should thrive in this system. I’m still not sure about RB. Was his success a product of his speed/skill or breakdowns up front that allowed WR/TE/RB to get to the 2nd level. Then there is depth and the risk of injury. As much as I like CJGJ, he has been injured a lot the last couple of years. If he’s out for a period of time, they could be in trouble. I want them to get Simmons, assuming they can get him at a reasonable price. Reed will still get his playing time.
@@PhillyEaglesFan66 okay i agree safety is a very important position. Since two elite safeties are required name the teams that have two elite level safeties. I’m not talking about two good safeties which is what we have i mean elite level. And if you were paying attention to the actual play on the field instead of the name you would know that reed played better than Simmons last year everyone just wants the big name. Same thing happened last year with shaq Leonard he was a big name everyone wanted us to get him but when he got here everyone could see he couldn’t play at the level of his name anymore
I love Ed Kratz

I mean... 17-20 would most likely be the best d in the league. We'll see.
Stoked for the season
My predictions birds go 14-3 this year but idk we will see. Lets go birds Hungry Dogs Run Faster 💪🏆🦅
Vic will play the best players regardless of Howie’s opinion. If Dean is healthy he’ll get his shot.
Mitchell is CB #4. He is not ready at all.

Even if we just had one good one like TJ and one competent one like Kyzir I think we would be fine ya know?
Zack Baun has looked good supposedly. He and White are really good blitzers.
Mfs always complaining. Name one team in the nfl with no weaknesses tf is wrong with yall
@@BigWilliamNotTheLittleOneyea I get it people always complaining but Howie has never invested in linebackers so i get why people are upset...
Nah... Nakobe is a WLB that can play MLB... he's on the squad for sure
Oh Lord, the way youre talking, I hope our defense doesn't suck. Can't possibly be worse than last szn.
Quinyon Mitchell defensive rookie of the year. All pro season.

Why? We went to the superbowl with Marcus Epps and cjgj reed is already better than Marcus Epps so why do we need help there
