Hey I'm wondering what's the right version for animating and hearing the sound frame by frame. I'm having a hard time but everything I do doesn't seem to work. It will be much appreciated!!!
I'm having a problem with Krita animating, that I add in a sound file and - it worked perfectly fine for hours of work. And then all of the sudden yesterday evening it broke. I just played the animation (hadnt finished it yet) and then without changing anything, all of a sudden it starts crackling and starting delayed. I had a similar problem (with delayed sound) a couple days ago, closed the app and started it again and it all worked again, but this time nothing worked. And now I dont know how to continue working on this animation, since I already spent hours on it. Oh, and it broke the audio in the whole app. I tried opening a new picture or other animations with audio and everywhere is the same issue.
@@FF-rd1ny Um, I'm not sure, sorry.. the crackling issue is mainly fixed, somehow just fixed itself over getting a new laptop, but the delayed issue, I believe, is just due to my RAM and everything not being able to process it well.. krita animation isn't super advanced and apparently uses a lot of ram and stuff.. Hope you'll still find a solution! Let me know if you do, haha
@@Viviified I believe you can fix it if you change the audio (For instance I changed mine from MP3 to WAV) and/or reduce the frame rate! I don't know if this is temporarily but it seems to be working for me
@@FF-rd1ny Yea i noticed with reduced frame rate it works due to it taking less storage to load, but for now it seems to work alright for me as long as i dont turn on a thousand filter layers :'D
Guys I fixed mines! Idk if it'll work for you guys but try lowering your frame rate and the frame speed and stuff. Itll help the music load a bit more.
so many people here have problems with their audio but having the newest version, I FOUND A FIX! Change your format from mp3 to wav, in my case it worked.

No. Basically Krita is bad for animating to audio and that’s it.
There aren't any other versions.. This is a Linux-only tutorial.
The Windows versions, the sound typically works properly!
