  • 60 Hz sine tone, to test your Subwoofer/Speaker/Headphones.
    Humans can detect sounds in a frequency range from about 18 Hz to 20 kHz. (Human infants can actually hear frequencies slightly higher than 20 kHz, but lose some high-frequency sensitivity as they mature); the upper limit in average adults is often closer to 15-17 kHz.
    If you “hear” frequencies lower than 18 Hz, you might just be hearing harmonic distortion.
    If you can´t hear the tone in this Video, this might be because of your listening device.

      sound is the vibration of physical particles and it travels slower/worse through air than solid objects, the energy was probably dissipated before it reached your ears. also depending whether you have hearing loss people might perceive different frequencies differently

    • @captainslapem
      @captainslapem 8 месяцев назад

      @@dbwkdidwbsof WRONG! Sound is the vibration of air. Physical particals slow down vibrations. That's why you need physical objects on walls to catch vibrations. Air between walls works well because the air can't be moved. You got it backwards bro

    • @dbwkdidwbsof
      @dbwkdidwbsof 8 месяцев назад +1

      @captainslapem air is physical particles bro. and sound moves faster in solids than in fluids ie its slower through air than through a wall

      @captainslapem 8 месяцев назад

      @@dbwkdidwbsof I don't know where you get that. The only forms of matter are solids liquids and vapors/gases. Air is a vapor not a solid or a liquid.
