- Rolls Royce Silver Shadow I, workshop time (part 3, removing part of the emission control system, the air deverter valve and blower motor. Problem solved, no ticking noise)
Thank you excellent video will try doing the same to my car this weekend. Keep up the good work
Removing the left hand side took me a while, because it is even less space. In the end I cut the pipes close to the block and used a 19 mm nut with extension. I didn‘t film it because there is no room to place the camera. Wish you good luck!
Hello, what year is your Rolls Royce? the engine sounds wonderful !!!!
It is one of the last Shadow I. Built end of the year 76. Nice words in your picture! Those are true!!! Be blessed!
It looks like you’ve removed an air injection system? 🤔
It injects air into the exhaust. Just to be within the US (Japan & Australien) exhaust gas regulation. It was not used in Europe. So for me not neccessary anymore…so now I got a light weight RR 😜
Air injection is an effective way to reduce some emissions at very little loss of power; i don’t know why people are so keen to remove it.
@@randyfitz8310if it would be injected earlier in the system yes, but into the exhaust? It was just to fullfill some american standards…didn’t reduce fuel consamption
