@bac0ntoastthat and I think they both watch anime so they are probably exposed to Japanese a bit more which does make a slight difference and helps with pronunciation
@bac0ntoast even outside of tones, japanese sounds are very close to being a subset of valid english sounds, whereas chinese has so many syllable patterns and vowels especially that are not close to english at all. but also they just didnt learn for long at all it seems. like with today's "hotel" mispronunciations, english speakers can easily produce a closer pronunciation when told whats closest in english, but instead it seems like they're to sound out pinyin as if it was english. legit all it would take is just rewriting the pinyin in their notebook to something closer
I am actually surprised that only 30% of people watched the tip to tip videos all the way through. They were pretty short and probably the best Ludwig videos I have seen.
Dude same, they weren't even a hard watch they genuinely were so entertaining. My partner who even struggles just to get through a show/anime he actually sat down and fully watched it with me too. Definitely one of my favorite things Ludwig has done.
Fully agree, I looked forward to each video coming out, watched them all the way through and honestly probably would have enjoyed them just as much if they were even longer because the content was so good and well edited.
those that able to watch till the end are just old people used to watch shows on TV or cinema..none of younger generation can do it now...im old..face it.
If you think im gonna spend 5 hours of my life rewatching the same videos just because you compiled them all into 1 big video then you are absolutely correct cuz this was legit some of my favorite content on this shit ass website
The instagram page for the biker cafe on day 7 was averaging 50-90 likes per upload, the pic of lud and michael is currently on 70k likes, I imagine the owners of the cafe thinking who were these guys??
@xarezarcs4125 emphasis on effort/view ratio. he could just do a low effort tier list or chat buys stuff on Amazon vid and still get similar viewership which really sucks
The guy editing was putting in so much work man they were coming out everyday and the dude was burnt out badly towards the end so you can't really blame the "effort"
for all who didnt watch the whole series of tip to tip...wtf are u doing. thats actually one of the best series so far this year on youtube. GO WATCH IT!!!!
I totally forgot about that part of the first episode, and yeah Michael is legit cracked. I've played minecraft for years, and never got 3D spatial awareness on that level. That's some super human shit right there.
@Deiwos0 Pretty sure Ludwig doesn't have dyscalculia, so that doesn't really apply. Thanks for sharing though, I had no idea it also applied to directions. I wouldn't have expected learn something new that's not just an arbitrary game fact in the comments of a Ludwig vid lol.
4:10:10 Imagine going to do some night fishing on the rocks and you just see a lit-up tent and someone yelling "Where the fuck is Hitler?! This is Just Porn!"
I am old and chopped and unc but there's something I love so much about this series as an example of positive masculinity, two bros going on an adventure together, being respectful of the culture and putting themselves in the vulnerable position of obviously not being fluent in Japanese but really earnestly trying which can feel really embarrassing, but putting themselves out there is just so refreshing. gah, love this series and any excuse to watch it again.
@hamzayouknow 0:09 "and this year we're anticipating a new trip" Michael's writing chinese on the white board. They're probably doing it in China, which he's talked about before on a few streams but hasn't confirmed anything specific yet.
This video is a case study on how good learning a language through immersion is. You can literally watch these two guys get significantly better at Japanese over the course of their trip purely because they have to use it.
1:30:23 The danish guy saying “repeat it” is fucking awesome I think that’s a really nice thing to do to make sure his info got across and these two strangers wouldn’t be lost
i am baffled that so many people apparently didn't actually watch all the way through, this was deadass one of the first youtube series that i actually tuned in every night rather than just letting it like pile up and binge it's such a fucking comfy watch... thus why i'm watching it for like the 4th time lol
japanese is not a tonal language like mandarin so it is much easier to get a hold of for people who don’t speak tonal languages (english speakers). in mandarin the way you say a word can completely drastically change the meaning of the word, which is not the case in Japanese. And Japanese has a lot of english loan words, you can generally get someone to understand you with basic stuff by just saying an english word in a japanese accent, because it is likely already part of the japanese language.
TIP TO TIP: UNCUT! Y'ALL THIS VIDEO IS A BRAND NEW EDIT WITH 90 MINUTES OF FLUFF REMOVED AND 45 MINUTES OF NEW FOOTAGE ADDED A LOT OF YALL DIDN'T GET TO SEE THE ENTIRE SERIES SO NOWS A CHANCE.. AND TIP2TIP NEWS COMING SOON...
Ive watched this series a ridiculous amount of times through reactions and i just realize 4:44:56 is the trumpet noise michael has been practicing in the shower
@evrich I rewatched this version, which was good. But I do think the original cut was a bit more attention grabbing for me. The stuff that was cut was like smaller bits that kinda updated the story more often as it went along. Idk how else to describe it, but regardless, the original version I think was nicer.
@evrich There were a few things where i was like "oh, this wasn't in the original!" but nothing crazy. I think not seeing the new stuff added is not changing your experience much.
I refuse to believe only 30% of people watched the whole way through each episode, tip to tip was a generational RUclips run. Had me and my friends refreshing your page just to watch episodes the second they came out. Probably some of my favorite content I've seen from the past several years it was actually so fun can't wait to become Chinese
@kirkjones365 it’s a joke from Ludwig’s streams. After Japan tip to tip he started studying Mandarin and Chinese history to prepare for China tip to tip. Ludwig frequently says he’s Chinese now as a joke
If Ludwig wasn’t already planning to, it’d be so funny to see this submitted to a film festival as a travel documentary like how DougDoug did with his Pajama Sam video 😂
When this series dropped I was miserable at my old job. Legitimately this series inspired me to quit my job, try my hand at making RUclips videos, and take my first ever solo trip. I spent nearly 3 weeks in Japan, bouncing around the country seeing the sites, meeting people, eating and drinking some of the best food and drinks of my life. I watched the old episodes probably 3-4 times and will be watching this mega cut. Godspeed on your next journey.
Yo btw dude tbe fastest way to grow your channel is yt shorts like you can get 1 or 2 bangers that just grow your audience and subs. Also in Japan are there any experiences u suggest?
30 percent club what up I was watching the series as it was being uploaded and honestly it is one of, if not my favourite RUclipsr series of all time, it gave me the same feeling as watching one of the Top Gear specials back in the day The vibes were immaculate and the coziness was unmatched and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so I hope you don't feel discouraged going into your next adventure !! Thanks Lud and Michael and everyone who helped put Tip To Tip together :)
It's in the same tier as Chris Broads first Journey Across Japan imo, just something amazing to experience as it happened and something I'll be revisiting every now and then
"Oh cool" Description: "45 minutes of new footage and extra angles for what previously only used one camera" "Oh guess I have to actually watch it now"
@lynxfangdelvie8080Yeah I mean this was my third time watching actually, I had watched the ludandmichael reaction as well, so I guess I am just tripping bad since the editor also said on twitter that there was new footage...
please don't be discouraged by the 30% thing, people's attention spans are cooked or maybe YT is buggy. it was legit one of my favorite viewing experiences and i was always so excited for the new episode and it looks like many people felt the same way
Absolutely in love with this series. I moved out to the countryside of Japan when I was in my 20s. Barely spoke the language, pretty much illiterate, had no idea where I was most of the time. It was the best adventure of my life. Your experience here has perfectly encapsulated what those first few years in Japan felt like for me. Just me and my friends wandering around trying to figure it out, occasionally being helped by lovely and patient Japanese people. And it’s so green and wild out in the inaka. Take me back.
Watched the series while I was in Europe for the first time. I remember waking up to a new episode every day for breakfast. Genuinely the most fever dream thing ive ever experienced.
30% is a crazy number. Not only is it the best ludwig content ever bar none. It is very possibly my favorite series/videos on youtube and it isn't close.
2:12:27 "we gotta head home now" as you can see this is just one of many ways that japanese life and culture has been engrained in my brain im just one of them now ahh statemenet
First time watching. I think regarding the helpfulness, it’s a bit more complicated than just “Japan is xenophobic and people won’t help you.” Generally, people in Japan mind their own business. They usually will not go out of their way to help you, as opposed to how Americans are generally outgoing. All the same, Japan is big on being respectful and helpful. If you approach someone and ask for help, they will generally try and help, especially if you go the lengths to follow respectful behavior there, but this is more of social obligation than it is kindness. It’s also really easy to identify tourists in Japan, and tourists can sometimes seem like a novelty to the locals, which, if someone approaches you in Japan, is likely the reason why like 9 times out of 10.
I think it boils down to false narratives being spread on social media. Japan has a veneer of being xenophobic, but are actually polite, respectful, and often will help when asked. US has a veneer of kindness, but most of the ppl are xenophobic. There is no way someone working at a 7-11 in the US is helping someone like they did in Japan. Especially a foreigner.
i think this is generally true for every country, country folk are more friendly and less afraid of the stranger and are more likely to have good hospitality. in cities, people tend to mistrust each other more than in the countryside or at the very least they mind their own business more.
You can't get people's info from plates in Japan unless you're some kind of law enforcement or government agency. They're very strict with public information like that, but idk if thats true, a Google search maybe? 😅😂 heard if through the rice fields 😂
I watched this amazing video and as a Starbucks employee thought the bear drawing on your cup was so cute at Starbucks Japan, that I wanted to emulate it and bring it to America at my own Starbucks. Told it looked like a pig and was offensive and then got an entire run down of what is and isn’t allowed on cups. Starbucks Japan wins on every level.
Their japanese was so much better than their mandarin 😭😭😭
Japanese is much, MUCH easier since there aint no tones 😂😂
@bac0ntoastthat and I think they both watch anime so they are probably exposed to Japanese a bit more which does make a slight difference and helps with pronunciation
@FlexRex. yeah exactly
@sorgairyes i was raised in hong kong where they speak cantonese with 6 tones trust me i know the nuance 🙏
I am actually surprised that only 30% of people watched the tip to tip videos all the way through. They were pretty short and probably the best Ludwig videos I have seen.
yeah i watched every episode and then i watched it again with Lily reacting to it
Dude same, they weren't even a hard watch they genuinely were so entertaining.
@sto4dz I watched Connor reacting 😅😂
those that able to watch till the end are just old people used to watch shows on TV or cinema..none of younger generation can do it now...im old..face it.
watching these as they came out knowing they were actively lost in japan was such a sick experience
😼
It was like some Survivor Man shit. Like we were tracking them. 🧐
And now they will get lost in rural China😭
That and imaging the editors frankly editing
@rjfast3563Huh?
The "repeat it back to me" guy is definitely a teacher and a parent - what an mvp
it's so smart damn
or danish
@kidsarecheese9198I am danish myself and I would consider it a very german thing to do ;)
@Pallerim I am danish myself and i would consider it a very danish thing to do ;)
@benjaminkofeod2696 I am german and I wouldn't consider it a very german thing to do ;)
4:04:01 Asking “Does this town have god?” To the gas station attendant is the funniest thing ever
hahahaha omg
Wait what was he actually trying to ask again? I forgot
@SpitsAreTheBest_Mk.IX_61 if there were bears
do you have the time stamp?
@SpitsAreTheBest_Mk.IX_61 kami is god/diety, kuma is bear. its easy to get them mixed up if you dont speak japanese enough
Tip to Tip: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut

a masterclass in writing
banger of a comment
Michael is cut tho
If you think im gonna spend 5 hours of my life rewatching the same videos just because you compiled them all into 1 big video then you are absolutely correct cuz this was legit some of my favorite content on this shit ass website
preach sis!
retweet
Same
RUclips get better soon!
YESSSS
This video is more hours of Michael Reeves content than Michael has posted in 5 years combined
i saw Michael in a thumbnail and im like - IVE GOT TO SEE THIS - i see the 5 hours long video... im like daaaaaamn i have to watch this!
they maxed out language points instead of geography points xD
The instagram page for the biker cafe on day 7 was averaging 50-90 likes per upload, the pic of lud and michael is currently on 70k likes, I imagine the owners of the cafe thinking who were these guys??
name of page?

I just wanna say, In my University class "Introduction to Japanese Culture", my professor mentioned tip to tip and I nearly snorted
Thats absolutely wild haha
Tf
Where was this class lol
What was the context hahaha
Context?
What department is that class ? Like anthropology or sociology?Sounds so interesting
Sucks that this series kinda underperformed (at least in effort/view ratio) since it’s seriously one of my favorite things on RUclips.
Really? Each episode had like 1 million views the retention between episodes is actually really impressive.
@xarezarcs4125 emphasis on effort/view ratio. he could just do a low effort tier list or chat buys stuff on Amazon vid and still get similar viewership which really sucks
What do you mean under performed? They all had higher view counts than the average lud video
Wild how many people have already ignored the "effort" part of the equation
The guy editing was putting in so much work man they were coming out everyday and the dude was burnt out badly towards the end so you can't really blame the "effort"
for all who didnt watch the whole series of tip to tip...wtf are u doing. thats actually one of the best series so far this year on youtube.
GO WATCH IT!!!!
im watching it right now??? is there more than this?
This year? It's like 1 year old now which is crazy, it was early 2025....how time passes...
“this year”… sure buddy
@xcol011 theres almost two hours of footage that is in the series that isnt in this supercut
This is a compilation, there are individual episodes for each day, posted last year
I looooove when the editor corrects them on a side by side map
It's even better when the editor does the visual representation of "what the hell are these morons even trying to say??"
I love seeing the search for a shop with a compass knowing they proceeded to not remember that struggle when planning for China
Turns out Lud started playing Minecraft to up his 3D spatial awareness like Michael.
I totally forgot about that part of the first episode, and yeah Michael is legit cracked. I've played minecraft for years, and never got 3D spatial awareness on that level. That's some super human shit right there.
@lordalex027 i wish i had
@lordalex027 I mean, knowing roughly how much you've turned isn't that crazy lol. Especially when you've got the sun out to give further grounding
@T0NI_ As someone with Dyscalculia, yeah it can be really hard.
Lud asking how far it is to **China** still makes me cry laugh
*foreshadowing* XD
cornball
okay Lud the chinese equivalent to "I thank you for thy assistence" is xiè zhǔ lóng ēn/谢主隆恩. Remember that.
legit liking this comment only to boost it more than the rest
But isn’t it too much like it means “thank you your majesty for your great reward” they use that with emperors 🤣🤣🤣
Bro popping this into google translate come up with fricken nothin
@Lemonremythat's the point!!!
@Lemonremy that's the exact effect I wish this to pull
Man low-key Michael has crazy good sense of direction catching the loop back on day one. I'd have missed it
If you're going downslope you're probably headed back to the ocean (when its only a few km).
4:10:10 Imagine going to do some night fishing on the rocks and you just see a lit-up tent and someone yelling "Where the fuck is Hitler?! This is Just Porn!"
Ludwig played himself by refusing to camp with Michael until the final option was to camp in the coldest fucking place they’d been
I am old and chopped and unc but there's something I love so much about this series as an example of positive masculinity, two bros going on an adventure together, being respectful of the culture and putting themselves in the vulnerable position of obviously not being fluent in Japanese but really earnestly trying which can feel really embarrassing, but putting themselves out there is just so refreshing. gah, love this series and any excuse to watch it again.
I also love how many helpful and nice people they run into; it's like a whole cast of characters lol
I was gonna rewatch this anyway before the next one
Lol i was in the process of doing so
Wait is there gonna be a next one
@hamzayouknowat the beginning he said he was in the process of making one
@hamzayouknow he said so in the reaction video of the dog catapult
@hamzayouknow 0:09 "and this year we're anticipating a new trip" Michael's writing chinese on the white board. They're probably doing it in China, which he's talked about before on a few streams but hasn't confirmed anything specific yet.
almost everytime i look at ludwig's bike the blinker is on
This video is a case study on how good learning a language through immersion is. You can literally watch these two guys get significantly better at Japanese over the course of their trip purely because they have to use it.
Does this count as a Michael reeves video?
Mostly likely. Prolly counted in our 3 allotted Michael videos per year
I don't think it counts since this was last year, the new tip to tip will be the one that counts... I think....
@sinphuul do the streams count tho?
Just the tip counts
Welp, I'll see y'all back in 6 months
1:30:23 The danish guy saying “repeat it” is fucking awesome I think that’s a really nice thing to do to make sure his info got across and these two strangers wouldn’t be lost
Me might work in aviation
it's legit too, saying it yourself helps immensely with remembering and understanding, kudos to him
Omfg, opened the comments to see if anyone also noticed that. 😂
I don’t think that he is danish
@ChronicWasNappedI dunno they just thought he was danish in the video so I went with it
Starting the tally for those who watched all 5 hours
Just finished, great video.
i am baffled that so many people apparently didn't actually watch all the way through, this was deadass one of the first youtube series that i actually tuned in every night rather than just letting it like pile up and binge it's such a fucking comfy watch... thus why i'm watching it for like the 4th time lol
watching this during tip to tip 2 and realising how much better they were at japanese than they are at manderin 😭
japanese is not a tonal language like mandarin so it is much easier to get a hold of for people who don’t speak tonal languages (english speakers). in mandarin the way you say a word can completely drastically change the meaning of the word, which is not the case in Japanese. And Japanese has a lot of english loan words, you can generally get someone to understand you with basic stuff by just saying an english word in a japanese accent, because it is likely already part of the japanese language.
41:17 - she actually did say that the restaurant was full, so really michael nailed the response here
TIP TO TIP: UNCUT! Y'ALL THIS VIDEO IS A BRAND NEW EDIT WITH 90 MINUTES OF FLUFF REMOVED AND 45 MINUTES OF NEW FOOTAGE ADDED
A LOT OF YALL DIDN'T GET TO SEE THE ENTIRE SERIES SO NOWS A CHANCE.. AND TIP2TIP NEWS COMING SOON...
tip to tip is crazy
An uncut tip lets go I’ve been waiting for this!
Russia?
i have an uncut tip
I hope there's more riding footage. That was my only complaint
1:09:15 and here I thought touring on a motorcycle was badass already, but imagine getting upstaged by OG-san touring himself ON FOOT FOR FORTY DAYS.
🤓 ackshually its oji-san (old man / uncle / unc)
yeah he really is the GOAT on this own pilgrimage. He truly is him.
@dannyhoang9623 yeah i know that i just referred to him as OG-san cause you know, he's the OG.
I wonder where did he sleep
Ive watched this series a ridiculous amount of times through reactions and i just realize 4:44:56 is the trumpet noise michael has been practicing in the shower
If I can only watch it once, would I watch this or the OG series?
@evrichwell it might give you a little trouble
@evrich I rewatched this version, which was good. But I do think the original cut was a bit more attention grabbing for me. The stuff that was cut was like smaller bits that kinda updated the story more often as it went along. Idk how else to describe it, but regardless, the original version I think was nicer.
@cowdiddyt thank you :) What about the extra stuff added?
@evrich There were a few things where i was like "oh, this wasn't in the original!" but nothing crazy. I think not seeing the new stuff added is not changing your experience much.
Anyone else coming back to rewatch this during tip to tip China? I need more t2t in my veins. ❤
i like how at 2:45:48 michael just repeats "hitler hitler" and lud having to turn him down
lol I thought no one would say anything 😂😂😂
I refuse to believe only 30% of people watched the whole way through each episode, tip to tip was a generational RUclips run. Had me and my friends refreshing your page just to watch episodes the second they came out. Probably some of my favorite content I've seen from the past several years it was actually so fun can't wait to become Chinese
I think 30% is not that low for a longer RUclips video, and even more a series. You'd be surprised at the size of the drop in retention
You cant become another race😂
Chinese ain't a race lmao
@kirkjones365 it’s a joke from Ludwig’s streams. After Japan tip to tip he started studying Mandarin and Chinese history to prepare for China tip to tip. Ludwig frequently says he’s Chinese now as a joke
If Ludwig wasn’t already planning to, it’d be so funny to see this submitted to a film festival as a travel documentary like how DougDoug did with his Pajama Sam video 😂
why tho?
@SchrogindersGreed so he can say he did
We gotta peer pressure him into it next stream
Could be a banger video of “How I accidentally won a film festival”
@GhostLillys yes! This is a great idea!
31:00 the greatest form of foreshadowing ever created. The pinnacle of the artform
Genuinely this was one of the best travel series on RUclips.
30 percent club what up
I was watching the series as it was being uploaded and honestly it is one of, if not my favourite RUclipsr series of all time, it gave me the same feeling as watching one of the Top Gear specials back in the day
The vibes were immaculate and the coziness was unmatched and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so I hope you don't feel discouraged going into your next adventure !! Thanks Lud and Michael and everyone who helped put Tip To Tip together :)
It's in the same tier as Chris Broads first Journey Across Japan imo, just something amazing to experience as it happened and something I'll be revisiting every now and then
it was literally peak i'm happy to be 30 percent with the rest of y'all
"Oh cool"
Description: "45 minutes of new footage and extra angles for what previously only used one camera"
"Oh guess I have to actually watch it now"
I don't know about that, I didn't see much new footage but, just watch it again lol, it's really good
@sp10482 I noticed some of the new angle maybe because i just watch the series while watching Lily's reaction.
@lynxfangdelvie8080Yeah I mean this was my third time watching actually, I had watched the ludandmichael reaction as well, so I guess I am just tripping bad since the editor also said on twitter that there was new footage...
choosing michael reeves as a partner was the smartest idea for this video.
Ludwig saying 恩に着る is frying me
i just rewatched the whole thing... ARE YOU KIDDING ME
He said they added footage so a 3rd time isn’t warranted!
lmaooo Ive literally been wanting to rewatch it this is literally perfect timing 🤣
Watch it again , then.
Samee. I legit just watched the whole series last week just to hype up my upcoming japan trip lol
@Lurkmaster9000*is warranted
now this anime even has a recap movie with original scenes holy peak
please don't be discouraged by the 30% thing, people's attention spans are cooked or maybe YT is buggy. it was legit one of my favorite viewing experiences and i was always so excited for the new episode and it looks like many people felt the same way
Next tip to tip. TIP 2 TIP 3: South to North Korea.
“repeat it” still blows my mind. genius
前から思ってたけどLudwigの日本語の発音すごく自然だね。ポテンシャルあるよ。
5 hours long? Lud really hitting the unemployed demographic with this one
Fuck! Too real.... Time to get off my ass lol
it came out just in time for spring break
it’s good for the employed who can use headphones at work too
watching this on lunch
What’s the timestamp for “does this town have god?”?
Lollll it’s 4:04:05
@GabbysANinja THANK YOU!!!
A collab with Jet Lag the Game would be insane
they took out micheal almost jumping out of the ship :(
what episode?
"Eye's get big, you know you fucked up when you do that" is a crazy statement in Japan
1:49 alright guys here’s a map
Michael and Ludwig really do make a dynamic duo for one funny ass trip
1:33:38 that girl was trying to act so casual in the back i can't XD
I never saw tip to tip, and am digging the china one so I’ll watch this to fill my void until next ep is out
Remember when you did a trip across japan
dude i miss when a new tip to tip video would release in the mornings, actually made me wake up early just to watch this
Could you imagine if two Japanese RUclipsrs did this in America?
there was a japanese guy who walked all the way across Australia for like 2 years and he ended up learning english along the way. Catman he’s called
@athena5573 That’s pretty cool.
Tip to tip is peak Ludwig and honestly peak entertainment.
Who are the criminals who didn’t watch Tip to Tip all the way through? It was brilliant
36:35 they forgot about car ojii-san so quickly...
Behind the Scenes of the editors during the trip is gotta be a banger if there were one, still a banger series tho.
4:04:06 White man: "Does this town have God?"
Gas Station Worker: *Side eye*
I think I’m done measuring my life in years revolved around the sun.
I’ll soon be turning two ‘tips’ old.
Michael erasure in the title, bro couldn't even say "We"
Absolutely in love with this series. I moved out to the countryside of Japan when I was in my 20s. Barely spoke the language, pretty much illiterate, had no idea where I was most of the time. For your tip to tip in Germany:
"Ich danke Euch für Eure ehrbare Hilfsbereitschaft."
lud and michel have collected some serious dad lore
Something about this cut feels more authentic and real, like a found footage documentary.
How crazy is this. I literally just rewatched the entire Tip to Tip in Japan yesterday, then this suddenly dropped.
like in one go ? 😟
it could be sick for them to go back one day with maps and take the ideal routes through all the places they went to
1:29:30 "Ferb, I know what were gonna do today" ahh line
Proud to be a 30%er ✊ literally might be my favorite series on all of RUclips
I know man, I watched it happen as it came out
I was there, I rewatched the series multiple times, and you bet I’m about to watch this whole video
30% is a crazy number. Not only is it the best ludwig content ever bar none. It is very possibly my favorite series/videos on youtube and it isn't close.
please still choose to upload them in an episode format, it is some of the favorite content ever
90 % of the conversation :” oh ho uhm uhm “
lmao paying the taxi guy in American dollars is crazy work
I like how the Chinese in the first minute has left and right written on the wrong sides
Tip-to-Tip THE MOVIE! Directors cut
I don't think I'd last 4:57 going tip to tip with Michael.
Just two bros enjoying their cross country trip with motorcycle.
i really dont like that stuff was cut out in the "uncut" version
Maybe I'm the crazy one but i would seriously watch the whole uncut vlog of 14 days of motorcycling and banter, bikes are great ambient focus audio
In my experience, it’s the same in America unless you’re in the Midwest where sometimes people are a lot nicer or more helpful
@nutmeg-anmidwesterner here who has been to japan and i can confirm
It definitely just depends where you are in the us, the further you go in the country the nicer the people get
I think it boils down to false narratives being spread on social media.
@thelampmatresse6990I would say that is a stereotype but you never know.. people are different everywhere
Yuya was the true goat of this video.
11:48 I feel more rural Japanese are nicer than those in the city like tokyo
i think this is generally true for every country, country folk are more friendly and less afraid of the stranger and are more likely to have good hospitality. in cities, people tend to mistrust each other more than in the countryside or at the very least they mind their own business more.
1:09:00 coolest old man, ill be walking japan soon too!
I realize now that I've rewatched the series a lot ... Enough that I notice all the new footage and camera angles 😅 Ty for putting this out!
oh I don't wanna dox this car infront of me, 2:45:20 switches to michaels perspective and immediately doxes the car behind him lmaoo
hahahah
that's a different car tho
but idk why the other one's fine to doxx, maybe no people inside
You can't get people's info from plates in Japan unless you're some kind of law enforcement or government agency. They're very strict with public information like that, but idk if thats true, a Google search maybe? 😅😂 heard if through the rice fields 😂
Tip to Tip was genuinely up there with some of the best content on this platform. Excited to hear more.
i wish they had 2 stacks of hand warmers each. cold hands for this entire trip sounds like a killjoy
