great review! i was not expecting you to compare it with original saturn and genesis controller because its not in the title, but that's actually what i was looking for!
I play a lot of _NHL 94_ & _NHL 96,_ and a good d-pad and quick response time matters in those games, too. I like Retro-bit. They make some good stuff for casual gaming. But I've had that unwanted up/down read happen a lot in _NHL 96._ Every once in a while I'll be in on a breakaway, wind up for a slapper, but get a bad up/down read and not even get a shot off. But I've had my eye on one for a while. Thinking about getting the white Saturn version.
I'm rockin sn30pro 2 on my PC and sn30pro for mobile. Would like to get this one too but I grew up with fighting games at the arcades so 8bitdo arcade stick is better for me.
@@jakesmith5278 I wanna get the arcade stick too eventually it looks killer. Right now though my sights are on getting that PDP Mortal Kombat arcade stick :D
If you wait just a day or two ago , you could of got the Amazon pride day price for it smh 🤦♂️, awesome awesome tho I got the Xbox variant recently that’s wired ( do not want to leave lag to any chance ) … it is surprisingly nice in quality and performance. Like a Saturn pad but a bit wider in a welcoming way 🕹️🥊🙌🙌🙌
@@preamstrikbiz0 arg, yeah you're right. I didn't actually know Prime Day was even a thing until after I bought it though, wife mentioned it and I was just like "Welp. Shit"
Can the new version wake the switch? I just discovered the old 2.4g one I had for the mini works on switch and also wakes it, but I don't have a free port to keep the dongle in so I'd like to replace it eventually with the BT one.
Hey duder, I just tried it and yeah it doesn't wake the Switch up unfortunately. I believe the only 8bitdo controllers that do are the newest versions of the SN30 Pro Plus. They have like an actual toggle switch on them

Glad you enjoyed it! :) Thanks for watching
I knew this was going to be a legit review as soon as I saw you playing some Darkstalkers. 🥰
@@returningwhisper love me some Darkstalkers! Thanks for watching man :)

I think this one's a safe bet. Probably the best IMO without using an official Sega 6 button. :)
I have two black Bluetooth m30s and also two white 2.4 GHz M 30s they're my favorite controllers
HOLY... It finally happened
Instead of rapidly pressing the buttons you can just hold the button and press the star button to toggle Turbo Fire
Edit: I see that you covered it. 😊
I was eyeballing it during the amazon prime day sale but because of the reviews I didnt get it 😔 now I want one
