Interesting comparison, I didn't realize how strong the EMG family is. To be honest, I didn't think they were all that good, but I'm definitely reconsidering their value and impact now. Depending on their mothership charge rate, I think they could be a great off-meta budget choice for Raptor since you never have to worry about losing your DPS in a brawl.
Both the Atomizer and the Quarker are excellent weapons. I use Mk3 Hazards on my Pathfinder and when charged up, they are lethal. Two problems with the Atomizer are 1) The gradual spread of shots and 2) the Atomizer has a wave type path with its shots if your robot moves as it shoots, similar to but not as pronounced as the flame throwers. I've noticed that the Quarkers on my Dagon can sometimes overwhelm the healing process in enemy robots because of the sheer number of shots its no reload system offers.
If they give back the old firerate of EMGs than I think EMG is a bit more preferable. They lack 3 second reload and space between shots. And I died a lot during the reloads
I run the exact set up in the first game with the cryptic hazards but I've found every time I try using it with Pascal I run into a lot of Lynx's so I prefer to run Seeker, for the extra shield and bot durability as well as the anti stealth.
Atomizer has better up close damage due to constant fire since the reduced accuracy isn’t an issue, however I don’t think that very slight advantage is worth giving up the 100m extra range, equally perfect accuracy and higher burst fire that the hazard has

I think now that pathfinder exists, there's no point at running any medium weapons on any 4x medium weapons bot

I think the emg is better than the radiation weapons, but atomizer is barely better than quarker while hazard does 50% more damage than blight.
