1:20 oh my god I’m not gonna lie to you this is my favorite map in Tria os, mainly cuz of the SICK ost
if crazyblox actually listens to the community more then yes it would definitely grow more.
but if he continues to ignore the players and how they feel about the updates, then the game is eventually gonna die, along with its 400 players weekly xd (ever since the fps change i've never seen the player count go higher than 530)
Ive seen it at 1.1-1.7k maybe just timezones but the game is doing meh, it could be a lot better if crazyblox made actual updates
Here's my thoughts. Fe2 will not get any better and will slowly die off. I've noticed a change that probably can't be fixed: The community. The community recently has gotten super toxic and offended by everything which is slowly killing the game(hence why I stopped playing fe2). The creator of the cosmic trilogy left due to the harassment he got which I don't think we can come back from that. Crazy+ being added won't fix anything, the crazy+ map we got added was really really bad and rushed. People who say it's good have not seen a good crazy+ and are just plain modernity biased most the time.
Also I think fe2 is going downhill it’s just that the highlights are getting worse BUT there is an exception, Mirage Saloon NEEDS to stay as a permanent map
It’s my video OMG! Personally, FE2 is going to slowly die off unless Crazyblox does something to revive the game entirely. I’ve been here since the start of the highlight system and I’ve seen the peak of the highlight system and its downfall. At the peak of it (from decaying silo to submerging coastland), the game would EASILY hit 1k players every day. Now, it can barely manage 600-700 with the game being pretty much dead during the night (less than 200 players). Nearly 1/3 of the player base has QUIT and it might just keep going. I like how we are getting near the same amount of players compared to 2021-2022 (aka dead FE2) with more than 5x the amount of content being added every year. Imagine how many people would still be playing if it weren’t for physics updates, leaderboard removal, FPS cap, and more (there is a lot). It’s just sad to see an entire community just die off because I had a lot of fun just messing around in chaos servers, usually with 1-2 full servers and now it can barely manage 1 on weekends and being dead 80% of the time on week days. Correct me here if I’m wrong.
No sadly you are right I would say bringing back backjumps and wallhops would be great while adding hidden easter eggs to search for so that players who destroyed all maps have something to search for. I also think that patching buttons skips would be useful on chaos mode but now that I think about it you can do that while leaving glitchs alone in chaos.

As an fe2 player, what I got from this video is that
Downsides: there isn't a lot of new content, players need more challenges, and the community is bad
Upsides: fe2 is still retaining a stable player count
From what I've experienced in fe2 and seen in this video, crazyblox just needs to permanently add in batches of maps made by the community every now and then.
He could also add a bunch of new modes to make old maps relevant again
(examples: faster lava, constant health loss requiring the player to constantly get tank bubbles/health regenerators, embot, ect).
Adding some new mechanics would help aswell as seen with the jumppads in mirage saloon.
Maybe and just MAYBE they could add some sort of fe2 story mode (idk how it would work)
Pehaps he can make the game even more competitive by adding a mode where other players can hinder each other in completing maps (races?)
These are just my ideas on how fe2 can remain fresh that isn't just adding new maps, and for the community, I don't have a solution to that

Il say in my option its going Downhill, WHY? Well the thing that i hate is theres a lot of troll maps [and kick maps too] and crazyblox doesnt even ban them: heres some exemples, beat in a miguel, THE CRUSHING!? and anything like that and i do not like that because at fe2cm servers you will not even notice you need to reset or give devtools so yeah. But whats more PAINFUL is you can press the button but rarely dont work, like emily saw someone press a button and a lot of people yes, a lot in decaying silo died. I hate that the Flood Wipeout [2024] didnt got highlight like its soo good and incredible effects and minigames, a lot of people love this map and WHY IT DIDNT GOT HIGHLIGHTED!?!?!?? so yeah :3
In my opinion, adding more maps to the game has nothing to do with the game dying, the game always held a consistent number of players without even getting any updates in the past, highlights are probably one of the worst yet best ideas to ever exist, yes it does provide map hungry players with new content but I'm personally not a fan of having to learn so many different mechanics, and those cutscenes are just annoying for me (Casino of Envy had terrible places for them). FPS cap is definitely one of the worst solutions to a problem, but then again unless Roblox themselves fixes the bugs with FPS, FE2 will probably remain as it is right now.
About Tria and Liquid breakout, I don't like them because my eyes just can't keep up with a billion changing particles, half invisible platforms, tons of dark spaces in the maps where I can't even see where to go. To beat any hard map it takes hundreds of attempts and perfected muscle memory. Which I don't have patience for because I struggled with something like Rustic Jungle. (also cuz FPS is a huge factor in smoothness of your landings, ur foot is less likely to get stuck in the floor.
Considering the idea that a lot of players just got the boot from the game, (speedrunners, grinders and fps unlocker users), the game is steadily heading towards its end, I'm not even sure if anything could revive the game now other than undoing all of these things that got rid of players to begin with. I do agree that glitches which ruin maps should be fixed but not in a lazy way as to capping the FPS, capping FPS essentially does absolutely NOTHING, there are lots of glitches that don't need fps to utilize them, like wall hops, slide glide and other stuff. I perfecly understand that he doesn't like working on the game anymore and that he wants to leave the game to self-sustain itself, but if you kick out the players, the whole point of self-sustaining the game is worthless, just leave the game to die at that point.
i think adding another mode might make fe2 a bit better, maybe like random map mode. Also buffing gem and coins rewards would be better also

@@carlosdiazcastro5346 nope, imo its not that great to be honest, it's doing the same mistakes fe2 had been doing years ago, allowing glitches and exploits to run rampant, constantly adding maps (who knows how he even gets the permission to add them). It's not that i think its terrible, i infact like the idea of XP multiplier increasing with the longer that your streak is. But i won't play it because the past is the past, gotta move on from it at some point.
I think bringing back backjump and wallhop would be great since it would allow for exploration coupled with searching for hidden easter eggs and that would be one hell of a combo. I get patching those glitches for chaos servers where they are actually annoying to people who wanna get their quests or who want a challenge and not a death sentence but to normal servers it is better to leave wallhops and backjumps alone.
i say fe2 is all being carried by composers and map makers, but idk if i can agree its going downhill since the hunt is happening in these last days
Well i have to say that fe2 is going downhill. They also need to make maps permanent for fe2 such as Casino of Envy, Abandoned Harbour, Aqua-Flame Base, Toybox Trouble, Active Volcanic Mines V4, Mirage Saloon, Abandoned Junkyard, etc.
For the FPS Cap part, the feature that Crazyblox added in settings is always bad, which people were complaining about.
The FPS Cap update literally patched some of the shortcuts and glitches, which ruined people’s reputation + made the ElusiveEpix (creator of FE2 Physics Sandbox) discontinued FE2 Physics Sandbox.
For the FE2 Community part, The community is *REALLY* toxic just like almost all MM2 Slenders and CNPs which Crazyblox has cause the community to be toxic. Recently, 0esun (creator of The Cosmic Trilogy with three FE2CM Maps: Cosmic Calamity, Cosmic War and Cosmic Zenith) got harassed by some people in the fe2 community which caused 0esun to remove his maps from FE2CM and leave the community. Honestly, the way that they just harassed 0esun is literally *FUCKING STUPID AND IT’S UNNECESSARY FOR THE FE2 COMMUNITY TO JUST HARASS 0ESUN JUST LIKE THAT.* and once again, i really feel bad for 0esun getting bullied. Never forget what we lost.
so anyways, thank you spkd for making this video about the status of Flood Escape 2. Hope this will resolve any problems.

I stopped playing the game a while back but came back to it when crazy+ was added. I spent the time to beat rj but it felt really rushed and the gameplay was just horrible. (video of me doing it on my channel :) ) After RJ I felt really bored with the game and I just didn’t have any drive to play it despite loving the game for years. Now I’m just finding out about more fps changes, the leaderboards being removed and just how boring the game is now I can’t help but feel sad for the game. I see how it’s dying and the toxic community in the game doesn’t help. Inevitably one day this game will die out and the other games like lb and tris.os will probably either take over or die too.

@@Astrojox_ i meant effects you can see that are very obvious. Not just sound effects. Like this one you could clearly see. Effects as like the one you would see in layers, very obvious

The fan games are good but they are poorly optimised I get 20 fps from them. Mirage saloon doesn't really have any new mechanics since crazy made them possible through the latest timelines update. Tria.os mainly focuses on facilitated maps where as other fan games just have fe2 maps added. Now for the community. Its so fucking messed up. The highlights should stay as they are. Crazy should really cap the fps to 120 and making one of the monthly highlights a perm and the community votes which one like it did back then, it gives us a more variety of maps to play after getting some maps into the game as well as more highlights.
I would say the state of fe2 is fine. Its the fps cap that would eventually cause fe2 to die. Hopefully crazyblox increases the fps cap to the max where no bugs can be performed and no one would quit because of lag.
4:40 dpeaking about this, if crazyblox wants his game to still stay good, he needs to let the community decide which highlights will be permanent (2 maps)
