When Aaliyah was alive she was one of the RnB girls like Brandy, Monica, Mya, it wasn't like now where you have 1 or 2 stars and I honestly feel Brandy was bigger than her and a better singer and actress. After Aaliyah died her legacy has become greater than she ever was as an artist. TLC touched the fabric of America. No scrubs, waterfalls, unpretty, creep were songs that crossed genres and changed the language people used.
