@Takashi Ryuusuke Yes. Garden of Words, Your Name, and Weathering with You are in the same universe. You can actually see the Garden of Words FMC (Teacher) as mitsuha's teacher in the early part. When she said she'll go back to her town, the town was itomori. So when itomori got destroyed, maybe she went back to Tokyo and meet up with the MC (student shoe maker) and I just wish they had a happy ending together.
Also, at the end of your name, there's like rain ponds everywhere, which I think means that Hina prayed at the time they met. Might be coincidences tho.
*Rain Rain Rain💧💧!* Radwimps ft. Toko Muira + Makoto shinkai = Perfection. Waited this OST more than anything, its so relaxing. Reminds me of Yumetourou from *Your Name* Especially when she says *ikou* And he says *Mousukoshide*
*Taki appear* WHOLE CINEMA : "TAKIIIII KUNNNNNNNNN " "MITSUHAAAAAAA" SOME RANDOM GUY : "THAT OBACHAN IS HERE TOO" *Mitsuha appear* WHOLE CINEMA : "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMGGDKSHDKD" "MITSUHAAAAAAAAA" DAMN THEY ARE DOING IT BETTER THAN STAN LEE
That granny isnt even in Kimi no Na Wa though. She is Taki's Grandma who lived in Tokyo and Taki just went to help her with the ritual. Kinda sad how they didnt clarify if Taki and Mitsuha got married (notice her nametag says 'Miyamizu' which is her original family name instead of taking Taki's family name) edit: nvm guys. WWY happened before their reunion, this the reason why they haven't met each other
I think you all should read the comic version. It seems like, your name and this movie are in different universes (like multiverse thing). In your name, mitsuha works at an office, not at the jewelry shop, and there is a contradiction in the timeline too.
@@KenKanekiHaiseSasaki The ending of your name is not even done on that cameo. Some says that Taki is still in college in that scene, (notice the uniform) while Mitsuha is working. Remember that the ending scene in Kimi no Na Wa is when Taki is looking for a job. So yeah, they have not met yet
@@deusalexisangcaya5296 nvm dude. I already figured it out. Taki graduated college in 2021 The ending where Taki and Mitsuha met on opposite trains happened in 2022. Weathering with you took place in 2021. So... yeah
I said this in another video of a person playing the piano version but I swear every music band like Radwimps or any music studio Makoto Shinkai works with with his anime movies is so good and makes everything 10x better with the story and plot and how his music fits with every scenario he shows and it gives the audience these big emotions and feelings that makes you sing with the song.
2:27 i remember this moment in the theater so perfectly. The girl of my dreams was next to me. I was emotional all the time during the film. But this...i got goosebumps, i started to cry. They will never those awards. Emmy just busy praising their superior artworks. Even thought some of em are good, but Japanese film need more recognition
I always listen to this when the trailer was released and when this started playing in the cinema, I got goosebumps because I finally realized why the title was "Grand Escape". From that moment, it made sense. The same goes for " We'll be Alright".
@@starsailor751 it was a cameo since both movies were made by Makoto Shinkai. In Your Name, Mitsuha's teacher is actually one of the main characters from the movie The Garden of Words which is also by Shinkai. He just likes doing callbacks to his old movies
Damn,Makoto Shinkai is so good creating a movie that makes us look at the world in a different perspective Your Name made me believe that there are copies of people in a different timeline Weathering With You made me look at the sky as if it was an ocean
This movie was glorious. Loved the soundtrack as well. Shinkai truly knows how to put a smile on your face by the end of the film. Really wish i could have experienced this in theaters with others.
Very underated comment lmao
Also, at the end of your name, there's like rain ponds everywhere, which I think means that Hina prayed at the time they met. Might be coincidences tho.
Everyone is like "oh taki and mitsuha"
I even saw her sister, teshi and her friend.
Tessie and Saya
@@blackeyefatlip7045 yes, saya. I said teshigawara already.
@@benjaminruckstadt3411 They can be said separately?
@@blackeyefatlip7045 I don't know how you mean it

Uhh :v
No i think its "i want you more than blue sky"
*Rain Rain Rain💧💧!*
Radwimps ft. Toko Muira + Makoto shinkai = Perfection.
Waited this OST more than anything, its so relaxing.
Reminds me of Yumetourou from *Your Name*
Especially when she says *ikou*
And he says *Mousukoshide*
Your name: save a city
Weathering with you: Flood a City
*Taki appear*
WHOLE CINEMA :
"TAKIIIII KUNNNNNNNNN "
"MITSUHAAAAAAA"
SOME RANDOM GUY :
"THAT OBACHAN IS HERE TOO"
*Mitsuha appear*
WHOLE CINEMA :
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMGGDKSHDKD"
"MITSUHAAAAAAAAA"
DAMN THEY ARE DOING IT BETTER THAN STAN LEE
his 3 friend was there too
That granny isnt even in Kimi no Na Wa though. She is Taki's Grandma who lived in Tokyo and Taki just went to help her with the ritual. Kinda sad how they didnt clarify if Taki and Mitsuha got married (notice her nametag says 'Miyamizu' which is her original family name instead of taking Taki's family name)
edit: nvm guys.
Taki graduated college in 2021
The ending where Taki and Mitsuha met on opposite trains happened in 2022.
Weathering with you took place in 2021.
So... yeah
Mr. Makoto Shinkai's anime together with RADWIMPS's songs are the best comp I've ever seen
Love the movie from PH
Genexyz Von Deus me too. I just watched it today. So great. 😊

I just watched Tenki no Ko, the scene with this song is just... Breathtaking.
2:27 i remember this moment in the theater so perfectly. The girl of my dreams was next to me. I was emotional all the time during the film. But this...i got goosebumps, i started to cry. It made me so happy she was next to me. I understood how loving someone more than the sun and the sky feels. How seeing them feels like watching the sun rise after the night. Thank you Radwimps. Thank you Makoto Shinkai.

For all the Shinkai fans out there, I recomend you watch his short film/ ad called "Dareka no Manazashi", on youtube
It's just 8 minutes long and it's beautiful
Agreed - it's a good one.

2:14 that faint voice is the best part and just after that the bold voice is just awsome
I knew waiting for the 1080p was worth it.
The entire cinema freaked out when the scene came out. Even I did.

They will never those awards. Emmy just busy praising their superior artworks. Even thought some of em are good, but Japanese film need more recognition
2:28 is when everyone got chills
2:28 my eyes filled with tears a little bit when I heard the chorus I have no words for appreciating this movie it’s beyond any praise 😊
I always listen to this when the trailer was released and when this started playing in the cinema, I got goosebumps because I finally realized why the title was "Grand Escape". From that moment, it made sense. The same goes for " We'll be Alright".
The crossover with "kimi no na wa" 😍😍
Yeah, It's not really a crossover because It's the same realisator, It's a reference ☺️
