I used to really like the Legacy, I always thought it was an interesting car that brought so much potential to the aftermarket world, particularly the 4th gen turbo models. But lately these cars are snooze-boxes. Yeah, I mean they're reliable and I'm sure comfortable and the AWD is nice for the snow, but the engine options are stale, the CVT is unfortunate and there's no real excitement or enthusiasm to it. It just kinda exists. There's nothing really wrong with it, but there's nothing right with it either.
Cars are for reliable transportation and not adrenaline rush toys. Find a hobby.
I'd say that this car is like the Japanese ford fusion because it is beautiful like the fusion on the inside and outside, it's family friendly because it's spacious (more family friendly than the fusion). Everything that the fusion is known for is in this car just taken up a notch by Japan.

This car was on my short list as a commuter. Really great fit/finish to the interior, spacious and comfortable and I like the new exterior. The flat six is smooth with linear power delivery. Then the deal breaker.. You hear it 30 secs into the vid...The turn signal sound is LOUD. Really destroyed an otherwise pleasant experience. Others at the demo event also commented on it. Definitely tuned for grandpa's ear.

what engine?
can someone help me, which model is more comfortable ??? the premium or the limited ? I keep hearing limited has better upgrade suspension??? but isn't 17inch more bouncier than 16inch rims? thanks everyone, im buying 1 very soon, thanks
I can't provide any info as to the suspension upgrade but in regards to wheels, larger wheels generally have harsher ride quality. a major factor is what tires you run as well, better tires will cut down road noise and provide a more cushioned ride.

I have one with about 100k miles on it and there are no issues with it. It’s pretty cheap to run and drives great.

CVT gear box? so noisy....

+Swift4Ghz Unfortunately road/wind noise is a tough one to judge with these videos, as it all has to do with how loud your volume is. I thought the Legacy was pretty quiet inside the car at speed.

It isn't noise at all, believe me. Turn your headphones down to normal volume ( when hands sliding the steeringwheel don't sound extremly load). Its just the boxersound that's always hearable but pleasant sounding in reallife

A conventional automatic has set gears (1,2,3,4,5,6 etc.) and has to physically shift. A CVT (BTW CVT stands for Continuously Variable Transmission) does not physically shift and instead of shifting a preset gear it picks a ratio of the RPM band.
