After waking up after Matty's 3.08 American champiobship I pick up my scrambled cube and did 3 2FL in a row within 30 sec, For me amazing speed. Very quick solving ompldete cube. Matty You are the best. Thx for watching the livestream yesterday I was tired end of the day but still result solving a cube is there. And now practice practice
Unforunetaly when i solved 2nd 2FL the first one is gone or I fixed 2 2FL and sgtarted te 3rd one, I destroy again the solved one. Happens me often

I would count this solve as a 2.8 because I slowed down the video and the cube is solved in around 2.8 seconds

the solve was done at 2.7 and the timer was stopped at 2.8 but the time just went forward to a 3.01

I know that this isn't wouldn't be WCA approved, but if you pause at 3:03 you can see that the cube is actually fully solved at 2.737 and the timer took almost 1/4th of a second to stop after Matty hit the stackmat timer. Really incredible solution.
OK but I count 19 frames at 1:55 before the timer starts moving and 16 frames at 3:03 before the timer stops moving. Seems fair.

Shesh, everyone seems to be color neutral these days. Meanwhile I'm still having trouble going for yellow cross instead of white^.
Pause on 3:04 he actually solved it at 2.878
I'm not so sure - seems to me the timer's start delay is about the same as the stop delay. I count 19 frames for the one and 16 frames for the other. Could be off by 1 or 2 frames on either side, as to when his hands left and recontacted the mat, but at least it seems about the same.

Why are most people not color neutral? The fastest solvers are always color neutral.
not necessarily true, if you spend more time on planning further than the cross, you could be faster on some solves because you don't have to look for which colour to solve on
