Ayo, shout out to y'all man. I enjoy y'all content. I mainly want to comment on the Kendrick topic. Salute for calling out Eyekon for his ridiculous comments about the Pop Out Concert. I'm from California and I also attended the show. There are things y'all said, that I think is highly foolish, though. AJ, Hispanics do not represent 70 percent of California's population lol it's 40 percent. Secondly, while Kendrick did surround the concert as a victory lap against Drake, it wasn't wokeness that he picked it on Juneteenth. I think his decision is way too layered than that. As Tone Groove and Noblez said, Kendrick has portrayed himself as someone as authentic and a believer of Black love and unity. LA, especially in Leimert Park, has an annual Juneteenth Festival where they have performers from California and out of town performers like Wale and Jazmine Sullivan last year. The show was abruptly cancelled last year because of a stampede, while the show was going on due to "suspected gunshots". No evidence support gunshots, however. This year, the festival was cancelled allegedly due to insufficient funds and other unforeseen concerns. I do believe this played a part in Kendrick doing the show on Juneteenth. Also, as he mentioned at the show, he said LA suffered a lot these past years with the passings of Nipsey and Kobe back to back. Also, add in the pandemic, and not as impactful as the other unfortunate circumstances I just named, but Dodgers and Lakers won championships the same year, but couldn't celebrate with a parade. The Pop Out was a celebration that these Black men and women on opposite sides, sections, and different walks of life, were able to get along without any incidents in celebration of the city's history of music and culture. Would this show have happened without the Drake battle? We will never know the answer. But I do contribute Drake being a large part. It didn't help that he said Kendrick didn't have as much love in his city as he did and that he's "rappin like you bout to get the slaves freed". Drake was the catalyst for sure, but there was a confluence of reasons as I mentioned, that made Kendrick select Juneteenth as the day for the Pop Out. I don't think the Drake disses should overshadow the symbolism of Juneteenth and the unity on stage. Wokeness is not a factor lol Noblez and Tone Groove were right in their overall take. However, Noblez, "it was nothing but Whites and Mexicans in the crowd." I'm not sure, if you were being facetious or general in that statement lol, but you are incorrect in your assessment. There were a lot of black people, including myself in attendance. Going off of a few second clips panned to the crowd or OVO stans saying there were only White and Hispanic people while streaming the concert at home, is not an actual representation of Black people present at the show. Lastly, I still can't believe AJ said 70 percent of California's population is Hispanic people. AJ, come on man lol

#anotherone I was down and out sickasf for a week and a half. What’s the longest y’all been sick outside of high school(in adulthood) and what was it? I hate the drs but had to go to the ER twice. And they THOUGHT it was stomach bug but I might have to change my life and diet now. Shits fucked up. How did that down period affect y’all cuz I don’t get paid time off so I’m sick asf worrying about how imma get my money back up and get rent shit situated while not being able to eat.
