    10:05 don't you think his advice to stay at the corner is a little confusing? I think this monotonic strategy is too risky just so you caught the opponent off guard very very few times

    • @thorzz2803
      @thorzz2803 Год назад

      I think WCH corrected a bit: Small glide is OK.

    • @calvinchin8795
      @calvinchin8795 Год назад +5

      i think u missed out his explanation at 2:08 .. but i think you should only choose that if u see u have hit a very nice shot and opponent is under a lot of pressure.. I believe his concept was, instead of putting your chance to return evenly .. gamble a bit.. and distribute it 25% 25% (going forward) 50% stay more at the back.. going forward is always faster than going backwards.. so if you hit the jack pot BAAM ! else you will still be able to return the shot if you anticipated wrongly..
      I find this concept very similar to how you dont return all the way to middle if you land a very nice net shot.. because you have already filtered out all the possible returns.. which is a net shot or a high lift which gives you enough time to move backwards..

    • @AXMIM
      @AXMIM Год назад

      It is good strategy, but how fast can you can to the net shot, this is the question. If you stay in the corner, if you are fast, you can reach the net shot, but probably not early. I'm slow, so I would be very late if not able to get there at all. Still I'm going to give it a try. Perhaps they were playing deep in the opponent's court also, which make the net shot less fast since there more distance to travel

    insufficent coach and asst in the training camp, this lead to coach unable to discover the weakness of the players, Additionally coach should display proper form of playing instead of just giving instruction..

    Why can't you be like An Se Young. Your age is about the same, you're only 21 years old. Your body shape is about the same as An Se Young. I want to see you become like An Se Young. If An Se Young can why can't you.
