- What is the Holy Quran?
The Holy Qur'an, often simply referred to as the Qur'an, is the central religious text of Islam, considered by Muslims to be the literal word of God (Allah) as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over a period of approximately 23 years. It is regarded as the final and complete revelation, confirming and superseding previous scriptures, such as the Torah and the Bible, which Muslims believe were also divine revelations but became altered over time.
The Qur'an is written in classical Arabic and is divided into 114 chapters, called Surahs, which vary in length and cover a wide range of topics, including theology, morality, law, guidance for personal conduct, and stories of previous prophets and civilizations. It addresses all aspects of life and provides guidance for individuals and societies to live according to the principles of Islam.
Muslims hold the Qur'an in the highest reverence and regard it as the ultimate source of spiritual and moral guidance. It is recited, memorized, studied, and revered by millions of Muslims worldwide. The Qur'an is also recited in prayers and religious ceremonies, and its verses are often inscribed on mosques, calligraphy, and religious art.

What is said about The Holy Quran?

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ الأَجْدَعِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءَ نَقِيَّةً مُرْتَفِعَةً .
