@@crookedty1482It is hard for me to truly articulate exactly why I agree with you because it's a little deep ( I have listened to him since the beginning so it's not just " ah he changed up tf" it's simply deeper than that), but I will try and essentially it is this: His original sound was hungrier to me, the way he capitalized on every syllable and potential rhyme combination was a proof of true talent and aspiration. I appreciate that he found his melody as well that is very important, I just feel that he didn't combine the 2 efficiently. To me the lyrics are lacking recently, the overall sound and beats and even his vocals are great, there just isn't the same tone, I listen to every song now and I think " nice, that was straight". A few years ago I would listen to one of his new songs or remixes and think " wait wait, what did he just say? He'll no he didn't pull that off that smooth let me rewind this bitch real quick, that was perfect " while scrunching my eyebrows with my head bobbing truly feeling his music then would be excited enough to send it to friends bragging about his talent asking them to check him out. I don't feel that anymore, he doesn't sound hungry to me, he sounds satisfied enough to make cool shit but nothing that excels or is mind blowing or that u listen to twice just to get that feeling again or hear a certain metaphor. This is all subjective but im just being very honest as well, I love the kid I just don't feel him like I used to.
