I am a 23 year old man from South Sudan, I have spent most of my life in a continuous war, it was a normal day 2 weeks ago as I was fighting. Then, the Sudanese fighters played this absolute masterpiece, we then began to all put down our guns and dance to this lyrical masterpiece. Thank you, sir. For Peace this song changed my life. My entire view of everything that exists in this world, in fact, even in the entire universe. I can never look at anything I know the same way again. This song represents emotions that most humans could never understand. But I can. Thanks to this song I was awakened to many things previously considered unimaginable. Thank you for this exquisite song. This video is an exquisite masterpiece, out of every single video I have ever even heard of on the entire platform, this by far has enlightened me to do fly, lose 90 pounds and even become the president of the United States, and I'm going to tell you why this is such a masterpiece as if hearing the creators, no, god of this universes luscious voice. I would like to express my thanks to you. My gratitude for your indisputably magnificent assistance is almost infinite. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. I really like your contribution that you have in our society, you really make a difference and help others out, the world could always use more people like you. Gosh, what a polite and humble fellow. It is such a kind honor for someone as low as me to be in contact with someone of a level such as yours. I thank you once again my good friend. A world without you, would be a world I would not be able to live in, and I believe I share that opinion with most people. I can rest easy tonight knowing you helped. I appreciate you and everything you stand for and on behalf of everyone on planet earth, thanks. Yes I 100% agree no lie I am 10/10 with you in this statement no question. You are completely absolutely correct and have made no mistake in your sentence whatsoever and I applaud you for that as you have made a thoughtful statement that many agree with and those that disagree are in the minority because your statement has absolutely no faults and thus is completely without a question correct and deserves nothing but agreement. and by the way, super saiyan blue theme is a very powerful, moving song that showcased the capabilities of human emotion. It used groundbreaking technology to create stunning sounds that would mesmerize the listeners. This song is suitable for all ages; whether you're 5 years old, or 50, you should listen to this song. It is inspiring and it showcases the spectrum of human nature and how humans communicate with each other. This song revolutionized the music industry and set the bar high for other songs. In the future historians will look back on this song and regard it as the pinnacle of human achievement. It was a roller-coaster from start to finish, the nail-biting song will leave you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Listeners will find themselves absorbed by the heartwarming tale of a relentless, determined African tribes who didn't let societies standards shape his/her/it's life. I was shocked by how intense and gripping this song was. The plot is rich, unpredictable and touching. This isn't your typical African war song, this song is a war with one's emotions. Tales of Africa is a stirring masterpiece that only comes once in a millennium. This thrilling instruments makes it a jaw-dropping performance that properly utilizes the medium. I rate this song 10 African tribes/10 African tribes, and will never listen to it again as every time I get saddened by the the fact that there will never be a song to match this masterpiece.
your comment was so profoundly meaningful. it touched me in ways that I can not, will not, and should not even attempt to explain, because it was beyond human comprehension. the great religious leaders of the past spoke of this feeling, Zoraster, Jesus, Muhammed, L. Ron Hubbard, the Buddha, only they knew the essence that your comment exudes. Only they could adequately praise it. I will die happy knowing that I have read this comment, because I agree with it 100% in every way possible, buddy, bucko, champ, slugger. wait...something is happening to me. I relapse and feel a whispering running through my body. It's the whisteling of the palm trees intermingled with voices in the jungle. There's a pause, and then we are under fire by the enemy. I look over to my best friend and gay lover, Jonathan McDougle, or as we called him, Johnny Cheeks, and tell him that if we make it out of here alive, i would marry him. I check my gun, and see that i've ran out of bullets, and I have that awkward moment where I notice I've stepped on a landmine (whoopsies i'm so clumsy oh my god) and Johnny Cheeks runs over to me with a rock and lifts my foot and replaces my foot with the rock, but I look down again and i see his feet are rocks too. I think to myself that he can be the rock groom and i can be the rock bride and we can have rocky children together, named pebble and slate. I reach over to him to kiss him to thank him for saving my life but as I do so, an enemy soldier runs out and slices Johnny Cheeks from cheek to cheek, if you catch my drift. Ok guys i'm back to the real world now. I just wanted to say how much I love this song and how much I love your comment. the line "Thinking of lust As they judge in disgust" really resonates with me and reminds me of my grandpa who would tell me every time I saw him that the devil was watching me. thank you for this art - "But I said it was a lover’s deed", it is always about love. Love is most wonderful thing that humans are capable of, and I'm glad i found my true love. It's important to cherish those close to you and care about your friends, family...oh shit it's happening again. We are relaxing in the barracks, myself and the other boys, and we are smoking our ganga out of our rifle barrels, listening to serbian trance music, and we started to feel the unstoppable urge to twerk. Our butts are swaying and gyrating to the beat and vibrating vigorously to the rhythm. Soon we are shaking so hard that our skin slides off of our body, like in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc, which is my third favorite movie, right after Groundhog Day and Blink starring Adam Sandler. Ok I'm back and I listened to Red Dress again and something similar happened. Okay it's 9pm EST and I'm going to go to sleep. Thank you for the wisdom of your comment, and for inspiring me to be a better person and treat my extended family with more respect. I love you so much and I grovel at your feet. Good day sir.
Everyone is talking about her voice but can we also appreciate the horrendous editing? It’s all imperfect… It’s deliberately cut in the worst moments with the worst possible transitions and effects but while using genuinely ok techniques so to make something looking so horrible it’s just amazing to me. Also the costumes, they are so perfectly wrong. They are neither appropriate nor really in style nor made of good quality or really fitting the people. They look perfectly awful without being outlandish. I am mesmerized.
This HAS to be deliberate, the way she consistently misses every single not is nothing short of impressive. This is like early Noise Rock or No Wave, but for Pop music. I know I sound like I'm being facetious but I genuinely believe that this is some art project that's just to deep for RUclips.
You're absolutely right. Its just like Rebecca Black's Friday. God, I went to school for this (media) and forget the term for it but theres this weird algorithm that makes youtubers like this famous by creating content that's so bad, that it gets picked up on by famous youtube commentators shitting on it, which expedites the origonal video's views. Im not joking. Its a real thing. Think Jake Paul or the dobre brothers. It's like life is a simulation level of big brain thinking. It's honestly really weird. Genius in a way but sheesh. . Edit: Cult Classic is the term I was missing. Just like Tommy Wiseau's 'The Room'. "Oh hi Mark" >> Disaster artist..
@@punpunpunyama9271 I said in my own comment, which i laughed my ass off at cause it just flowed so easily out of my fingers... "Vibrato is a useful tool and can sound really good, but when you use too much of it, it sounds like cat puke smells."
The thing is that autotune would've helped this song tremendously. It wouldn't have been anything original or to write home about, but it atleast would've been mediocre. The fact that it wasn't makes it seem like a troll.
This is just genius. This woman heard someone say "music is a subjective art!" one time too many, and she snapped. So she decided to carefully craft a musical piece that is objectively unenjoyable in every facet of its being. Truly mesmerising, and a sobering lesson for us all to not put limits on the human imagination
@@brood5184 it must be intentional, because i mean this video is so professional, she also had to hire all of the actors, its just way to high production. she is defenitly trolling
there is somone on youtube who does this with music. He takes a song and just makes everthing off key , cant think of his name but she reminds me of him
I disagree...This song is brilliant. She found a way to not only miss the tempo, but also every note is either flat or sharp, whilst simultaneously incorrect for any known cord, just perfectly off. There are words, possibly, but no real clear message. It is literally anarchy towards music as we know it. She is raging against the concept of music as a vehicle to feel pleasantly soothed by tones. I have never thought of music as guttural pain and confusion before and I like this challenge to my senses. I once watched a really pretty bird get sucked into a plane engine. It was a pretty bird, an ugly death, sad, but fated... Ironic that the fake metal bird murdered the real beautiful bird... there was blood and bits, but also a bouquet of pretty feathers floating about aimlessly... I was alone in seeing it, and never had the words for it, but this... this song is what happened in my head and heart, in slow motion. Thank you.
The part where she said " It's Red Dressin' time " sends chills down my spine. Truly one of the lyrics ever in the music history. This song deserves a SarahBrandillion views
The more I watch, the more I love her. She is a comedic dynamo straight out of the fucking gates! I watch in thirty second bursts of laughter and tears.
Oh, you're lucky. I always get the one that thrashes about "dancing" and hits me with her gallon drum purse she somehow got inside, OR the one that's eaten only corn all her life, talks loudly during the entire concert, then wants to fight you when you politely ask her to shut her cornhole so you can actually hear the band.
It's satire of American culture and their obsession with overly simplistic and generic melodies , especially with country songs. This is how non English speaking people see us. Pretty intelligent piece honestly. This is how generic I've always viewed country music my entire life anyways, it's out of key to keep people from enjoying it in America to get the point across.
If this is a social experiment, it's fucking brilliant and I really wanna see the results. This has to be on purpose. No one can realistically miss EVERY SINGLE NOTE EVERY SINGLE TIME
I saw a comment once saying how it’s intentional because its supposed to make you have the same judgmental face as the others in the video. And if thats true, then i kind of love it because that is genius 😂
Wow she must be a music major, the dissonance between the singing and the music is incredible and could only be understood by the best music theory experts
Thank you so much for making this song, Sarah, because it is an absolute masterpiece which has changed my life. I wanted to become a singer but I was talentless, and afraid that I could never become a successful big shot. Then I listened to this song, which gave me the lesson that anybody can make a song, even without any talent.
The random cuts and weird editing along with the notes which are like 99 percent off key (no one can do that un-ironically trust me) just point towards satire. And i must say a very good one at that
I play sessions in LA and I have been hired AND SIGNED CONTRACTS for individuals with similar vocal chops…I mean some people have rich parents and delusions of grandeur.
Sarah Brand actually has a lot of skill. It takes a lot of skill to make every single note off tune and the words purely incomprehensible. Truly amazing.
She apparently is getting a masters in sociology. I speculate that this video is awful on purpose, specifically she preformed the song with a different instrumentation in a completely different key. That, combined with subpar singing ability and a shitty music video to accompany, produced this social experiment
It isn't unlikely she recorded her singing over a backing track that was in the same key but the backing track was pitch shifted for the final song or just re recorded.
This absolutely has to be deliberate (is she a known entity in anthropology or some other subject focusing on humans and human interaction?). Its too perfect. Every single note is wrong. Every single note of the music is discordant with every single note of the vocals. And none of those discordances are consistent with each other. Every single thing is perfectly wrong at every point; not a single accidental right or even partially right combination. Matched perfectly with the super off-beat, twitchy visuals. It has to be deliberate. Or its a once-in-a-continuity, unicorn of wrongness.
I’m still torn 50/50. On the one hand, this is so unbelievably fucking terrible I struggle to think anyone could possibly do this accidentally; on the other hand, some people are just really, really bad at singing and maybe no one has had the heart to tell her that she seriously needs lessons. Her other song, Fantasy, is even worse. I almost can’t believe someone could make something so bad that it makes Friday look like Mozart. It almost HAS to be intentional, but I’ve been wrong before.
Ok i am incredibly conflicted between not normally enjoying this sort of pop song but the off chord vocal makes it avant garde almost and sarah owns it in her own way and being creative and putting it out there is brave as you draw nothing but criticism no matter what you do.
@@shaggy44zebra the tell is in the consistency.. i know people like to think otherwise... but some other people figured out what people like to think..
Ok so here's my theory: Sarah's a sociology student, so that already points to a social experiment of some kind, notice how every part of this is bad. There is no way every single department messed up in this. the editing is shitty, the text looks like an early 90's British sitcom, the cuts are all uneven, the vocals are all of pitch, the choreography is akward as hell.Even Friday had more tolerable filming. Hell, even the costumes look shitty. If it truly was a rich tween making whatever the fuck she wants, you'd think the budget would be higher. Now, notice how the likes/dislike ratio is disabled, but comments aren't. If she truly cared about repelling hate, wouldn't she have disabled comments too? It just seems too much of a coincidence that all of these things line up. So yeah, I feel like this might be some kind of social experiment or something
Plausible, but you would have to apply that idea to her whole “career”, considering she has another song which is equally uncomfortable to listen to. Maybe we’re looking at a future shitpost musician. I don’t know.
the only point valid point I can think of is that if you're hot, however shitty your voice maybe, you'll get the views, even if acting as slutty in a church as you'd expect in an American Pie movie. But then, aren't there more interesting and less obvious social experiments to make nowardays?
I imagine that this could be a social media experiment related to her studies, as she's currently enrolled in a Master's programme in sociology. It makes me regret not doing some kind of experimental project like this for my PhD (although given that I study military history it's probably for the best that I didn't).

Longest YT comment I’ve ever seen 😂
your comment was so profoundly meaningful. it touched me in ways that I can not, will not, and should not even attempt to explain, because it was beyond human comprehension. the great religious leaders of the past spoke of this feeling, Zoraster, Jesus, Muhammed, L. I just wanted to say how much I love this song and how much I love your comment. the line "Thinking of lust
As they judge in disgust" really resonates with me and reminds me of my grandpa who would tell me every time I saw him that the devil was watching me. thank you for this art - "But I said it was a lover’s deed", it is always about love.

Thank you.

She apparently is getting a masters in sociology. I speculate that this video is awful on purpose, specifically she preformed the song with a different instrumentation in a completely different key. That, combined with subpar singing ability and a shitty music video to accompany, produced this social experiment
All you would have to do is sing the song correctly in one key, and put that track over the music recorded in another key.
It isn't unlikely she recorded her singing over a backing track that was in the same key but the backing track was pitch shifted for the final song or just re recorded.

Every single note of the music is discordant with every single note of the vocals. And none of those discordances are consistent with each other. Every single thing is perfectly wrong at every point; not a single accidental right or even partially right combination. Matched perfectly with the super off-beat, twitchy visuals.

Sarah's a sociology student, so that already points to a social experiment of some kind, notice how every part of this is bad.
