We teach like this... 1. Tight Flat Defender = Corner to Swing 2. Wide Flat Defender= Slant to Swing. We found the Flat Defender will tell you whether the slant is good. The wider the defender the better the slant. The tight Flat Defender means the Slant is no good and work Corner to Swing.
