Thanks for the breakdown. I tried rolling some because I like the Rurouni Kenshin series and got Kenshin, so I’m glad he’s a really good unit. He’s my first anti-traitless and and anti-aku damage dealer as well as being one of my favorite characters in general so I’m pretty happy.

Decided to spend 8 rare tickets to see if I’d get Saito…yeah I got him lol.
Even at level 15 he’s so helpful when it comes to Aku realms, which I’ve struggled on quite a lot on especially on Mount Aku where you can send him in when Mamon appears and just pop his shield immediately.

Kasli the Bane is a very powerful unit when it comes to stats. The combination of high health and 5 knockbacks leads to her staying alive for a long time when summoned. Thanks to the powerful Surge, she is also able to deliver high and consistent damage to midrangers and backliners, such as Le'noir and R.Ost, while also intercepting incoming peons and keeping enemies that are extremely easy to knockback at bay, such as Gory variants, Brollow, Rain D. and Mr. Puffington. Lastly, she can even be used for "base trapping": if you have her hit a base and trigger a boss wave, her Surge will instantly hit and severely cripple anything that comes out, sometimes making a massive difference. Just remember that due to her blindspot and most of her damage being concentrated in the surge, she will not perform too well against Zombies, short ranged pushers like Bore or One Horn, as well as surge-immune enemies. However, a tanky unit can cover her blind spot, making her usage even more viable.
Damage isn't all she has though: her Curse ability lets her disable enemies' Knockback, Slow, Freeze, Weaken, Warp, Curse, Dodge Attack and Toxic abilities. Since it has good uptime, this makes her even more useful against enemies with annoying abilities like Super Metal Hippoe, Li'l Doge, Crazed Axe Cat, Henry, Winged Pigge, Gobble, Heavenly Herald Papuu, Bakoo and all Relics. There are, however, rare instances in which her Curse ability can be counterproductive, such as against some units with Warp, who would become unable to warp any attackers they reach to safety. This is most notable against Final Boss Giga God.
Her immunities to Wave Attacks, Warp, Curse, Weaken and Surges further help her with the threat posed by such abilities, especially in Uncanny Legends, Cats of the Cosmos and The Aku Realms where they are prominently active.
Overall, she's an extremely powerful unit that holds her edge all the way into the endgame and has almost no drawbacks.
Your really trying to make Kalsi look like a good unit? It’s a terrible unit, outclassed by Papaluga and Huge Hermit, unless it gets a huge power boost, a practical curse, and stronger surge, it is a completely useless unit

As someone who got Saito (i got all four actually), i can comfirm, Saito literally shreds aku enemies like butter, pretty much as well as yukimura shreds blacks
Its even better cause Saito doesnt stay at the front of the front line after attacking, he is a bit behind the front line so he wont get shredded by enemies, and attack again very quickly due to his short backswing and basically non existant foreswing

Saito help a ton in Brutal Heinous Road stage, i tested it.
Honestly I think kenshin will be better unless you are endgame. Having massive damage vs traitless is rare for non-fest uners and surge is probably the best immunity you can have. If Saito were surge immune he would be better across the board but unfortunately he is not
The feeling when I did a single pull, got an Uber, check the video to see how good he is, and my guy is the first on the list, is just so PEAK.

Yes, Saito can destroy the Prof A easily with Roe or Thunderbolt timing.
His pierce makes it easy for his attack to land so it’s even better if there’s say a Ginger Snache in front of Prof A.
Dayum, i was rolling for this set thinking "Oh well, i have enough tickets, i might track my seed and get some UR dumps", and then, in the 4 rare tickets i had, i rolled Aoshi and kenshin, in a row, (and also a limited super rare but i dont remember her name). Considering i am in mid SoL, kenshin seems kinda good imo.
Kenshin will be outstanding for begginers, who want to obtain all crazed/manic/special true forms due to his massive damage vs traitless.

How Ponos decides to drop ubers so powerful. Well, you see, people forget this is a gacha game. Everyone cheats, so they forget that legit players most likely won't get this Uber in the 12 days or whatever we have.
That's why you save up for potential banners, no? I just save my cf for collab banners and always have around 7k cf when the 100% comes and that almost guarantee me all of the ubers. What I want to say is even if you are a legit player you can still get what you want. Resource management > being lucky.

@unlegendaryduc Yeah, that's what I have always done since the beginning. Seed tracking is a normalized practice in the BC community, though.. I personally like the gacha. I think not having every OP unit made the game a lot more fun for me over the years. Trying to figure out tactics that work and work arounds. I actually pulled Hajime Saito on my very first draw on the set. Got Kenshin Himura a few days later.

I kinda have doubts about how good an anti Aku are Kenshin and Saito. Kenshin has no shield piercing, which is acceptable for a nuker I guess, but Saito's lack of surge immune is a game changer. Notice how the stage you're showcasing him on has no death surges, which are extremely deadly to rushers.
Despite Asukasli, I'm still used to wait for only the bad collab units.

Today is more or less the last day of the event, I had 750 cat food exactly on this account I've only been playing with for about a week, so I got the starter bonus and the 100% Uber rare chance, I pulled Kenshin first which I was overjoyed about, then Sanosuke right after, the two bros.
I was immediately happy to see a collab banner that actually had good units, so I knew this would be worth it if I got any of the Ubers, it's a shame the creator of this series deserves to be locked up but in this case I feel like I can separate art from the artist, the kind of wisdom on display in the Kenshin series seems far beyond what he did, how are you gonna write characters with better morals and higher wisdom than yourself?
So to me the guy who first started writing Kenshin and the creator are two different people.
