Thank you for taking us along. Man I wish I could go to a dolls house show. Have never been and even tho I don’t own one I could see me spending all of hubbys money. Sooo maybe a good thing we don’t have any here. Lol.

Hello Richard, thank you for taking us to Kensington with you, I'd love to go there one day, the little cats you bought are very cute, especially the one with the goldfish bowl, we had a little black cat years ago when my eldest daughter was small, he used to sit with one of his paws in the goldfish bowl like it was a foot spa 😂

Hello Diane, I'm so glad you told me of your memories, because it wasn't until I read it, that it brought memories back to me! When I was around ten years old we had a small fish tank. We had two goldfish (I remember naming them, fish & chips!). But I also remembered we had a family cat then, that used to just sit with his paw hanging over the tank! 😂 thank you for reminding me 🙏

I’ve just come back from Cornwall and there waiting for me was a parcel, how excited I was to open it. Not only was it beautifully packaged but to my delight there were two vases! Thank you so much. I couldn’t make Kensington obviously but I’ve enjoyed seeing a few of the beautiful stands, I’m off to York fair soon… can’t wait.
Welcome home Charlotte! Hope you had a lovely time in beautiful Cornwall 😍 and I'm glad your parcel arrived too. The extra vase (as far as I can remember) was one of my "practice" pieces from the beginning 😀

Yes Lana, and to be honest, I don't go to these fairs now, just to spend money. I now enjoy more, meeting and chatting to the like-minded folk, which to me is worth a lot more! 😊

Hi Richard thank you for another great video you never disappoint us..loved the tour you took us on..everything on the Miniature Garden Florals stall was gorgeous and the fairys made by Charles magical miniatures beautiful I could see one of them in my miniature garden..I think you should start and do a stall at a miniature fair with your vases and furniture you make xx
You are very welcome Sharon 🙏 and yes, quite a few folk has said I should do a stall at one of the fairs. But they take up so much of your time, and I already work every day doing commission work, youtube videos and when I have a free moment I have my own projects to do! If I never had to sleep, I could still fill my time! 😂 xx

It has been ages since I was able to go to a fair. It would be nice to go to one again because there is always something unique that you don't come across while browsing websites.
Well this is certainly true, but it can also be a problem, because everything you see is usually much too expensive! 😏
Thank you for taking us along. I'd give anything to visit that dolls house show. It makes me happy to see so many people enjoying the brilliant artists. So many charming creations. You're right about the people...miniaturists are some of the most delightful people I've ever met. And! Thank you, again, for the beautiful creations I'm proud to add to my collection. Yes, those figures were amazing, and the lady that makes the pop-up books showed me the Alice in Wonderland book. Every page had different scenes/characters, and they all moved! I have no idea how she makes them so beautifully 😍
As of yet I haven't been to a miniatures show and it is so much fun to hear the excitement in the air and to see all of the wonderful things. I have written down the names of the shops you mentioned and will have fun looking them all up!
I'm sure you would have a lovely time, meeting other like-minded folk! I took a card from the flower lady, in the hopes that one day I can afford to buy two of her displays in the urns! To see them in real life was something I won't forget in a hurry! 😂

Oh dear Marrianne! I know EXACTLY how you feel, waking up then, and not being able to get back to sleep! Not fun! But I'm glad I was there to give you something nice to watch 😊 hopefully your winter won't be as bad as you think...fingers crossed 🤞
Rich what a tease only showing us 3 items. How I’d love to go to such shows but perhaps it’s as well as funds wouldn’t run to many purchases so will carry on making my own versions but the skill of some of the miniaturists is breathtaking and makes me feel inadequate. However making and creating is the most fulfilling hobby and at 79 I still get a gurgling excitement as my next idea pops into my head. Like you it’s often during the night when the planning happens so getting up in the morning I’m ready to start (housework suffers) life’s to short to worry too much about dust and fluffy dusters whisk it away when absolutely necessary. John Boy would be horrified! Just love your films, take care of your health when you have so much to do and miniature work is so time consuming and can’t be rushed can it?

The show looked really good. I live in Bournemouth and cannot find a miniatures club near me nor miniature shop. It is very frustrating lots of love.
Mmm, that's frustrating! I'm just thankful that we have youtube in our time! It's one of the few tools that helps to bring us together as a "miniature family" 😊

How exciting! I would go nuts around all of that incredible talent. Plus, I'd be broke when I left. The closest large show around here is in Washington state. There aren’t any shops or shows near Willamina Oregon. Thank goodness for internet shopping! Thanks for sharing your adventure!

Do adult dollhouse enthusiasts actually play with their houses or are they just displayed? Just wondering. I’d love a dollhouse but I don’t have space. Me and 2 cats just about fit in 2-room flat. But if I had any house big or small I’d play in it! Wonderful to your trip and items.
The adult enthusiasts/miniaturists enjoy the hobby of creating their "ideal" worlds. Everyone imagines where they would love to live if they could afford it, so instead, they create houses to reflect that. You then spend time looking and buying/making the items you want in that house. And then you can sit back and enjoy looking at them 😍 but if you don't have a lot of space, have you thought about buying/making a room box or two? You can just have one the size of an average room, and then it can be what ever you desire! A kitchen, lounge, or even a shop like a florists etc
