For those who are planning to get the reps, the BIGGEST tell for this comparison is the tongue. Retails have a pinkish hue for the tongue, while reps have a whitish-yellow hue. The glow in the dark sensitivity and longevity of the outsole is also different, but other than those, both shoes are nearly identical As of october, the tongue flaw has not been adressed yet by any replica batches (idk about the glow in the dark issue)

I guessed correctly at the beginning of the video & i think the best way to tell a fake pair is by the way they bend on feet. The real ones crease pretty evenly on the toe and tongues while the fake pairs have a bit more irregular & random creasing. Ive noticed this time & time again & i think that may be the only thing reps will never get right.
I got a pair of these and I gotta say the fakes do have some stuff that I wish the real pair had like the wings Nike logo glows I bet that would be something cool to have and also the Nike air inside the shoe glows too I feel like Nike missed that sort of opportunity they could’ve put it a little more spots that would glow up but overall great review brother do you have a link or something onto where we can get that black light you have or is all the black lights the same

Hey man I'm kinda worried, everything on my pair checks out (box included) except the tounges. They're creased and that's the most obvious way of knowing whether it's a rep on this pair. I ordered mine from Goat on the 20th and they said it was authenticated on the 24th but I didn't get them until today. Mine shipped overseas from Hong Kong so that makes me extra worried, did I get reps? And when I say the tounges are creased I'm not talking about like a crease or two I'm talking about noticable creases.
I've noticed a good way to tell is the tongue on these. The color of the back, and the real tongue is very stiff for an AJ1 tongue. Like the outer border of it is very stiff compared to most other AJ1s.
I got my pair off goat on release date of the across the spider verse release, but it’s shipping from Malaysia which is worrying me a bit, I have no issues w them as a country but when getting pairs from overseas, it truly puts my mind on high alert because the chances of them being fakes are very high. I want to wear my pair for the movies and I’d truly be extremely pissed off of my pair that passed the authenticity check, turned out to be fakes after I did the proper checkings for them. That will heavily fall on them for being lazy w the checking and just be passing every pair.
The reps weren’t available here in China until the 24th. Malaysia would only be receiving them now. The reason they’re coming from overseas is because the resell here in Asia isn’t as crazy as the west. I see they are now $280 in the USA, but only 5-10 usd over retail here in Asia. It will be stores in Asia making profit off the western demand. Don’t worry! Anyway, you can use this video to double check when they arrive.

On the real pair center heel the yellow shadow of one of the pepperoni dots overlaps one of the red parts of another pepperoni dot. But in the fake pair the red dots are all on top. Damn close though
These are really close but i know for sure there will be a more accurate rep later on. With the more red hue tongure and the back of the sort of dirty leather to the more accurate color(not sure if its the camera making the fake look more faded on the fake)
the stitch on the tongue is a dead give away. the real pair the mid stitch are near the bottom end of the tag close to the 2nd stitch while the fake one the stitches are at equal distance
Yo idk if you still responding to comments but I just got my pair and everything else checks out, box, stitching colouring etc but when I shine the black light close to my pair only the TM beside air Jordan lights up. Does yours do the same or should I be worried?

I bought a pair on eBay and I've been trying to let eBay know i got a fake pair. It does not fit like all my OG high that i purchased but their "authentication" team claims its authentic. Any suggestions on what i should do?
If they refuse to give you a refund you can file a dipsute/chargeback with with your bank or credit card. They are legally required to give you a refund in most countries, especially if you're in western Europe many countries have strong consumer protection regulations.

No noticeable smell. I can check though. Worth noting that all shoes have a glue smell - reps or retail. It’s just that reps have less time to air out. I doubt you will have a rep as it’s only been a few days. Maybe they rushed production on the retails and sent them out right after production rather than airing them out?
@@snide. but some fakes have a more chemically strong glue smell that stays on the shoe longer. Maybe a cheaper glue that smells strong because they use a lot of it in the shoe?
the tongue stitching by the nike tag is clearly off on the fake ones. my boy has a retail pair and the Jordan logo lights up with the blue light so yeah 🤷🏻♂

No you’ll be fine. I only have these now because I live in China. They only started posting them out on the 24th. Check the rest of the video, not just the inside of the box. The reason I go through so many different things is because not all of them mean fake or real alone.

They got the colour right on the heel area fixed on the new version too. The glow ‘issue’ remains the same, as does the tongue.
Quite curious, How can you even buy a fake one? They look quite well done, even with very small flaws.

They only glow under the UV light however. You’re right though - more glow could have been fun!

Don’t worry about the stamp - there’s always inconsistencies. It’s why I showed so many other details on the shoe itself - check them all!
