This whole conversation was a conversation of SUBSTANCE. All bias aside. Nicki Minaj checks all the boxes. All the boxes that everyone can’t check. She writes 100% of her raps. Sold millions of records. Has the impact and accolades. And has had a 15 year PROMINENT RUN. No female rapper has been consistent for 15+ years. No one compares to Nicki Minaj. I don’t feel like anyone’s forgetting them it’s just that nickis influence is so great that they sometimes get dimmed out. I truly don’t understand what’s so hard for ppl to just say Nicki is the best her discography is legendary and incomparable regardless of (if) someone like rhapsody can go bar for bar with Nicki is she anywhere near as versatile as Nicki?
I think the answer is yes in a way…. At least in regards to the females that have come AFTER her. And even some of the males. Nicki changed female rap & made the blueprint for a what a successful female rapper looks like in todays world. Honestly, I also think you can narrow it down to every single rap artist that is out today, is either inspired by/wants to be like… either Lil Wayne, Drake, or Nicki, sometimes all of them.

I mean this in the most truthfully honest way I can say it… the girl in the GREEN is a hater. HOWEVER - Nicki did NOT TAKE A BREAK! Ever. Nicki has never taken a break. Literally every single year she has released new music and/or MULTIPLE features. I think 2016 was her slowest year ever since she came out & she still did like 5 features that year. So the girl is just straight lying & that’s what I don’t like, don’t discredit people with lies & bias that just isn’t true. Nicki’s charted every single year on the Billboard 100 since 2008.

Only things I disagree with here is “it was Nicki for a long time” no really but briefly yes. You still had Iggy, Dej Loaf, Young M.A, Kash Doll, Azealia Banks, it’s just they wasn’t touching Nicki level. However, all those girls had hits and bangers in hip hop but Nicki is top 5 and number 1 for me of all time, plus that’s Wayne’s artist so he’s gonna give her that credit and I think she’s earned it. Her impact is history and can never be forgotten.

Inspired but beyonce almost 25 years strong in the game super talented in all aspects from her vocals to dance to her body and features her acting. She's took it further then any women before and is still on the hot 100 charts in 2023 and selling out tours breaking arena records across the world like She's is the Queen for a reason. That's like saying lil Kim is greater then nicki minaj who's also had the same 15 years strong on top of the rap game and who single handedly revived the female rap genre there is no comparison.
