Hey guys. I've reuploaded this video. This video was remastered to cut promotional segments and the recap section. Many parts of the video may look and be edited differently, but the content is the same. The runtime has subsequently been reduced from 8:00 minutes to 4:17. I have reuploaded this video because of complaints about the excessive runtime of the original video. I am taking down the original video because this is the replacement. I am doing this at no benefit for myself, and most likely performing at a loss, but I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the original back in October last year. Alright that's all 🙂
I'm trying to find a way to display their time zone (not the time, the actual code for their time zone) Does discord have a code to display the users timezone to them like: "EST" or "GMT" etc. After the time stamp, i want the user to understand it is displaying in their timezone by showing the timezone code after the time. Is there a way to do that?
i tried searching online but what I want is apparently something what is not possible with Unix timestamps. I want to just have the time, without any date showing when i hover over it. Any idea if that is possible? We use a timestamp for our weekly events and we have international people in our group and since the timestamp was still set on a specific date, it didn't take into account that some people underwent a time shift already so it showed a wrong (old) time. So I just want it to show a time like 18:00 or 6:00 you know. No date, no weekdays attached
I know this is 5 months late but you can sort of do this with unix, it showed you how in the examples around 2:45. What you should type is "" instead. It'll still show you the date when you hover over it, that's just how it works, but for people just looking at it it'll just say "Hour AM/PM", which sounds like what you're looking for.
@@LoreCatan hey 5 months late again, but im trying to put a time and date in my about me that updates and goes up as time does with any time zone, how can i do this cause its not working for me
@@yecheats so I think my reply to you got deleted cuz I tried to include a link (even though I put it in brackets without the actual http but whatever) so I'mma simplify my comment. The thing about unix timezone stamps is that they're created to translate your timezone to the reader, not the reverse, so if you're trying to show someone that "it's {timestamp} right now" they'll read it as their own current time and date, as shown on their computer. The way I and several others have worked around this is by just letting our friends do the math for themselves, by giving them an easy hour to calculate from. My current status reads: "My midnight is your {timestamp}" Very simple. It's easy to then infer that if you read "My midnight is your 6AM", you are 6 hours ahead of me, so if you got the sudden urge to ask to hang out at 8PM you'd know that for me it would be 2PM. Unix Timezone stamps don't update, so if you hover over it the time will always say the day you put it in your 'about me', but the timestamp itself will always remain accurate to whoever is reading it, so if that doesn't bother you it's a great solution. If you google " my midnight is your 12 am unix timestamp" you'll come across a reddit thread that goes in a bit more detail and gives you the tool to easily convert your unix timezone stamp. Good luck! Hope this helps.
@ThatOneWeirdGal I gotta ask why you think the voice is aI?? To me he honestly just sounds like the avg 17 year old atleast where I live so I am curious why you think this?
