Next time leteni Mwas.. this episode was nothing but therapeutic. You guys don’t know how happy you make us. The guest roll out ni moto!!! More guest and cheers to the funniest Pod in Kenya! 💕 Bring Lotan back please.
Yo, the love is real! 😍 Thank you for vibing with us and feeling the therapy in the laughs. We hear you loud and clear-Lotan encore requested (noted with a big exclamation mark 😂). Mwas on the wishlist too? 👀 Keep the suggestions coming, fam!
Kwamboks, thank you for highlighting issues on water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH). These are the issues that that the International Toilet Day is meant to create awareness on, and to inspire change. Among vulnerable populations, the lack of toilets is a threat to public health, human dignity, and it becomes worse in time of disasters and extreme weather phenomenon such as floods.
Thank you for sharing this! Lack of proper toilets, especially for vulnerable populations, poses serious health risks, and disasters like floods only make it worse. Let's all work towards better water, hygiene, and sanitation (WASH) for everyone.
New fan✋I have watched all the episode, differ topic per episode ,I learn new things , laugh alot, and the big reason for watch nowday it cause you motivate me to get through my depression ,some other habits that I never knew could be the reason for... Big up to Kwambox for being my newly found role model ❤ Kerry being my crush😉🥵 and Joyce I admire your style and fashion taste 😍. I love what you do and maybe one day Inshallah nitajipata Kwa episode moja😂
Wow, thank you so much for the love! 🥺💖 We’re beyond happy to hear that Boxpod is helping you through tough times and that you're learning and laughing along the way. You're part of the family now, and we appreciate you! 🙌🏽💯 Big shoutout to Kwambox, Kerry, and Joyce for being your role models - we’re here for it! ✨ Keep shining, and who knows, maybe one day you’ll be on an episode with us too. You’ve got this! 🙏🏽😊
This podcast teaches me stuff and I love it for me❤️ Someone said put a mic in front of a man and he will tell you who he is. Some of Lotan's comments were off putting and as the conversation went on, it reached a point where Joyce was no longer laughing. I am glad she checked him too. When he said he views himself as a bull, it means he views girls and women as heifers. He also said that he is usually after the nut and he doesn't care how he gets it. That is lack of respect for us. We are mammals but we cannot be reduced to cows. Such comments perpetuate the wrong narrative about humanity. When he referred to his boss as "Baby J" and then quickly saved himself when he realized he has said the wrong thing, that is something he does because he could have said John, Jessica. Such remarks create a highly sexualized working environment and makes the workplace and the world a hostile place from women. All his comments come from a place of privilege because he doesn't get to go through what girls and women go through just for being female. It is okay to joke, laugh, tell stories but don't mislead and don't degrade the female gender.
Great show! Depression is a big thing in men. Men hold all their shidaz inside coz it's a taboo to talk about these things least you get lambasted as being not man enough or too emotional ama weak. So you hold it in until it boils over and it's too late.
You're absolutely right, and it’s such an important point to highlight. Society often teaches men to bottle up their emotions and that expressing vulnerability is a weakness, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Bottling things up only leads to more pain down the line. It's so crucial for everyone, regardless of gender, to feel safe and supported enough to talk about their mental health without judgment. The more conversations we have about it, the more we break down those harmful stereotypes. Thanks for sharing that insight-it's something that needs more attention!
I am a bit of a sanitation enthusiast. Just thought I would mention that it costs about KShs 65 to 135 to use public toilets in train stations in the Netherlands and sometimes they also charge you to use toilets in restaurants and clubs.
Wait, WHAT?! KSh 65 to 135 just to use a toilet in the Netherlands? 😱 That’s INSANE! If that happened in Kenya, people would lose it! Most can’t even find a toilet to use, let alone have to pay for it! 😳
@@Box-PodTV we want an encore .He should be a regular coz the way he compliments Kwambox's chaotic sense of humour was a gift I did not know we needed. Asanteni sana

Kwamboks is factual but she doesn't give lotan time to speak despite his contrary opinion. She's opening up an argument which she has answers to, which should be the point, she should be flexible and diverse to allow herself to take in the other people's opinions.
Btw, kwambox the surgery thing o heard from my grandma long ago. I was a kid. She's long gone now. But i can attest, it's true she was old and she was speaking of her known world experiences.

Aww, we love hearing that! Thanks for the love, we're just here to make sure you get all the laughs and good vibes. Keep tuning in, and we'll keep bringing the energy!
These men want a situation where there is synergy but don't wanna be associated with creating it. If you don't wanna be open about your two relationships you is a chronic cheat, stop hiding behind polygamy.
Oof, facts! 😬 Some folks want the perks of synergy without putting in the work or being real about it. If you're not owning up to both relationships, polygamy isn't your excuse-it’s just chronic cheating. 😅 Let’s keep it 100!
The Kisii tribe of Kenya has a traditional surgical procedure called a craniotomy, which involves removing part of the skull. The Kisii people were known as ababari ernetwe, which translates to "surgeons of the skull".
That's fascinating! The Kisii people, or Ababari, are indeed known for their advanced traditional practices, including the craniotomy. This practice involved the removal of part of the skull, and it was typically performed for various reasons, including the treatment of certain ailments, or for ritualistic purposes. The procedure is one of the many examples of traditional African medicine and how indigenous communities used their knowledge of the human body long before modern medical practices. The Kisii's expertise in this area earned them the title "surgeons of the skull" (ababari ernetwe), which reflects the level of skill and knowledge they had developed. They were often called upon to perform these procedures on people from other tribes as well. The craniotomy performed by the Kisii was typically done with great care, using tools crafted from materials available to them, and was done in a very controlled and precise manner. It's an amazing testament to how traditional knowledge and practices can sometimes be ahead of their time.
That's so fascinating! The Kisii people’s craniotomy tradition is such a unique part of their culture. It's amazing how their skills in ancient medicine, especially in something as complex as skull surgery, were passed down through generations. The fact that they were known as ababari ernetwe (surgeons of the skull) really shows how advanced their practices were. It’s always interesting to learn about these lesser-known cultural practices! Have you got any other cool stories from that visit?
In germany we mostly pay for most public toilets at the automat in the entrance, around 1Euro i think... then most toilets in the malls you just give the cleaner atleast 50 cents bt the are not that clean 😢... toilets at gasstations are clean and at times Free or you pay a ticket and can recharge for the voucher worth 50 cents-1 Euro at the store3, whereas toilets at the highways but very dirty n free 😢
Wow, that’s a whole experience! Paying for toilets at the entrance with a 1 Euro fee, then some malls just give a cleaner a tip, but not always clean? That’s wild! 🤔 Gas station toilets being free or a voucher for a cleaner one sounds like a win, though! Highways being dirty but free... Yeah, not so much! 😢

Restrooms ought to be a free complementary for services offered. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with such shenanigans in the states
