I remember back in the day my friend called me to come to his house to try and beat the rusty walrus level after he heard I completed the game. We stayed up till 4am trying to beat it. As soon as we beat it we completely passed out with the PS2 still on. Hehe good times.

I'm assuming your talking about those grey things floating above the water? I'm actually not sure what those are supposed to be. My best guess is that they are iron crates that Crash's model spawns on before the N.Tropy and N.Brio cutscene

I remember playing this for hours as a kid, and there are two things I never knew.
What it was that was censored on the back of the box, and that you could turn Cortex around during the sledding levels.

Wow, I realised there was a chicken house and a house with a bunch of women in when I was little but I didn't realise what he had said until now. There's so many of those type of jokes in Uncharted, it's good to see where Naughty Dog started off with it but I don't even think Naughty Dog did this game. Some of the writers maybe.
Actually, you can thank the writers of "The Simpsons" for most of the humour in this game, as the creators specially asked them to come in and help write the game's jokes, so it could become as hilarious as you can now see on your screen. Also, Naughty Dog had long since given up the rights to this franchise at this point: the last Crash game they made was Crash Bash I believe (or basically: all of the PS1 Crash games). So you should really be thanking Viendi (or however you spell it) Entertainment for this game... and also for rushing the developers to release it earlier than they intended to, resulting in them cutting out a LOT of content.
That being said though, Naughty Dog still had their fair share of "adult" jokes in the PS1 games. Best example would be their original design of Tawna. It was so HILARIOUSLY innappropiate that Sony forced them to cut it and make a slightly more "kid friendly" version... which still wasn't good enough for them. So they had Naughty Dog scrap Tawna and introduce a much less sexist, much more appropiate female character: i.e. Coco! And now you know her origins.
P.S. I highly recommend you go on the now retired Crash Bandicoot 1-3 official website. You can see original character sketches (including Tawna's ridiculous original design) as well as blog posts/insight from the game developers themselves written all the way back when the games were released: the late 90s.

I was a little kid when this came out on Xbox and my brother loved to play it and one day he stopped. And years later i got a copy of it in perfect condition, and after a whole week I finally managed to beat it.
I love Crash Bandicoot series because its filled with charismatic villains, kinda like Batman.
In this game Cortex steals the show most of the Time, In Nitro Kart the evil team is far more entertaining than Crash's team. I really hope Activision takes N.Sane Trilogy's success as sign to make another Crash game with this kind of humor and amazing soundtrack.

This video has my favorite levels in Twinsanity. Snowboarding on Cortex, N Gin's battleship level and the boss fight against N Tropy and N Brio. 🙂 Before you have to go Madame Ambely's school to get Nina, I was wondering when Coco's paralysis from Cortex in the beginning ceased which she later went off to the Laboratory to save her brother Crash when she said to Cortex: "You Monster! Let my brother go!"

I remember it took me forever to figure out how to beat N.Gin when I was younger. Always felt that boss was poorly implemented, had no REAL indication of what you were supposed to do as far as I'm concerned.
Also, when the door broke down it looks like the room Rusty Walrus was originally in looked like it had padded walls XD
I like to imagine that Rusty is just a crazy guy, Ripper Roo style, who just thinks hes a cook XD
It was even worse for me because in my country they had translated "lure" as "convince" so I had really no idea what to do as a kid lol
I always found is jarring how the game just immediately threw you into that boss out of the blue without giving you any context. Like he's just there and he immediately starts attacking you, no cutscene to setup the context or anything.
