+studinthemaking My thoughts exactly. These socialist cretins would rather the state took it and fettered it away in a endless black hole of a social program for the relentlessly idle.
Ruben Jimenez lol, I thought the same thing. Especially with the strange combination of a Land Rover (?) and a little club cart looking thing (sorry I'm not good with cars so I don't actually know what they are. But they do look like they'd be in some dudes gta garage)
The only way one man can have all this , is to ( legally or illegally ) rip off a lot of other people , through clever business deals or what ever . I don't care how he did … One man on this planet should not have all this … and the twist of his seemingly well awarded fate in life , is he is alone …. what a surprise !
Yeah most ultra rich places go unsold for a long long time as the ultra rich want to build their own fantasy house not have someone elses. Although this is just a second or third home.
I can see why someone might think it a sad situation. He said on one hand the compound gave him so much joy & yet on the other, it was just too big & he didn't have anyone to give it to. Seems to me money maybe can't buy true happiness, but having a lot of money could certainly take the sting out of it.
Or it could be that no one in his family was as successful as him. It takes some serious cash to keep a place like that, taxes and maintenance alone are probably a normal persons yearly salary.
Does anyone else viewing this video find it odd for a private citizen to venture a project so grand in a rustic setting? Listening to this guy speak of how many greyhound coaches can be driven into a subterranean garage but have only two small vehicles parked in it; It leaves me to question WTH might be going on at that compound?
My biggest question is how do you get the cars out should the lift or elevator fail? If that's all you have then that may be an issue. If your land is a decent enough size a drive-in tunnel from surface to ground would be a good backup for that lift.
If there was room for a ramp to the surface that a super car or a bus could get up and down, I would assume there would not be a need for the lift. And quite frankly I imagine a ramp like that to that depth would cost a lot more even if there was sufficient room. Lifts are there for a reason. They’re solving a problem.
I don't understand the economics of how anyone worth less than 10x the price of this garage can make these numbers work. There isn't a business need to have an underground garage this big. How many people are worth 500+ million? It doesn't add up
For all the nasty comments and hate before knowing what you are talking about . Tom and his son thomas had a humble beginning . Tom the men in the video was a trucker and a harry dude .. His some was very smart and created a Software company , and Tom his dad lend him money . Thomas the song died of a horrible stomach cancer at 31 years old . Tom inherited , it was said more then 3 billions dollars . this was back during the Silicone Valley boom ..... So before you go on hating . this was a normal man who lost his son and he always stay humble . Hung around with his Harley buddies .. Don't go judging . I lived in Incline village for about 15 years and I know this property well and Tom personally
Another cost effective and easy to handle with crank is sloped door. Look like a side of a hill made of rock and lift it up or swing, as a conventional door, to sides conspicuously.
I've got a lot of cars too, and I've got a good solution for storing them. Just leave them outside. And no one would want to steal my cars since most of them don't run.
Why have that huge garage with only a golf cart in it? Maybe he just moved all those expensive vehicles he talked about wanting to protect out of it to show how massive the garage is...idk
There's another tour of this place on million dollar rooms (search it) posted 2 months before this one. Step 1. Be/get rich Step 2. Do something stupid with your money for attention Step 3. Sell it because it's too big Step 4. Repeat
I disagree, that's not to build wealth, it was customized to his liking which is fine, but from what I remember he's been trying to sell for a while. That's not the type of property that an average person would buy to flip, it's a much harder market at that level.
kinghung23 I've been known to say that it's probably good I don't have money, as I would fill up that garage space with vehicles that when combined, wouldn't be worth as much as a couple of the vehicles he has stored in that garage......as well as lifts and other tools for wrenching on them in comfort.
You build all of this and then leave? Some people truly can not be happy or satisfied. That is what makes this sad.The amount of work put in to that elevator alone, for no reason other that the owner wanting it, then you walk away from it? Makes absolutely no sense. No respect for money and no respect for the craftsmanship that went into it. For the craftsmen, it goes deeper than getting paid. They get hooked into the buyers dream, vision, and passion and they put their all into making this happen... All for naught. I can imagine how much shit the contractors went through to get the owners specifics just right for him... Then he sells it.
This guy is rich as me in GTA, what the hell man, surprised I didn't see a tank in his garage
Lol I have 2.1 billion dollars with Michael in GTA.
The tank was out on loan that day!
Dad it's me your son!
hipster doofez
LOL 🙈
hipster doofez jahahaaha
I know im black pops .. but im your son lol lmao
???
just buy a family that are interested.
I bet that guy put a lot of constructions workers kid through college with that project.
hope so
If his parishioners saved that money they could've put their own kids through college.
+studinthemaking My thoughts exactly. These socialist cretins would rather the state took it and fettered it away in a endless black hole of a social program for the relentlessly idle.
He actually owned several major software companies that he sold I believe in the 90's and made a fortune.
studinthemaking oo
OMFG you have way to much money
Congratz on making a GTA garage
Beat me too it
*****
GTA V wasn't even out yet when this video was put on youtube...
David Mark no shit
A1
so... were do the iron man armours go?
they go inside the trees
I was thinking batman but iron man is definitely more that style well played
Looks like the gta garage
Ruben Jimenez lol, I thought the same thing. Especially with the strange combination of a Land Rover (?) and a little club cart looking thing (sorry I'm not good with cars so I don't actually know what they are. But they do look like they'd be in some dudes gta garage)
now all he needs is someone who actually loves him
Congrats on all your success. So many rude comments here for a man who has obviously has lived life smart and won!!
Clinton Li
True class has nothing to do with being poor, but you wouldn't know anything about that because you seem to be classless.
The only way one man can have all this , is to ( legally or illegally ) rip off a lot of other people , through clever business deals or what ever . I don't care how he did … One man on this planet should not have all this … and the twist of his seemingly well awarded fate in life , is he is alone …. what a surprise !
Ok but I would feel much safer walking down his street than yours
If he saw you walking down his street , he'd likely shoot you . lol
well that's just mean
I wonder how he keeps track of registration renewals for 50+ vehicles
They’re all new and unregistered
HAVE ALL EXPIRE AT ONCE
1:09 you see that ghost? it looks like a dog but he flips the lights on and nothing is there.
It reaches to the elevator. It disappears before he turns the lights on, you can see it on the elevator when it disappears too..
Yeah I watched it over and over and realized it's just grainy film LOL
Shit i thought i was the only one
Charley Tank same I thought I was the only one
Okay good I thought I was seeing things LOL
This is an amazing house. Wow! A car collectors dream.
I remember seeing this before. I think he says it eats like $30 of electricity to cycle that large lift.
Would love to have this place.
I love lake Tahoe its so peaceful, I wish I could afford this beautiful home. the view is breath taking. 😄😄
This place is a few hundred feet away from my house. It's been for sale whole or subdivided for years, wish I had more dough!
Yeah most ultra rich places go unsold for a long long time as the ultra rich want to build their own fantasy house not have someone elses. Although this is just a second or third home.
wow...and I was excited
about my
3 car garage...I feel like shit
now😏😏😏
+Rich Bern Don't worry... I'm excited about your 3 car garage just hearing about it! :D
+Matej Sommer thank you sir😁😁😁
+Rich Bern Some of us would be stoked for a two-car garage. You are living large, sir! =D
+Michael D Thanks a million...I really appreciate it😊😊😊
I don't even have a garage.. and have a Fiat Tipo 1.4 1994 ... that's how fortunate I am...
Ok ill make an offer. $345,000 and I will throw in my wife to sweeten the pot. Hey don't judge me, its a nice place.
You are $49,600,000 short
***** hey, don't judge until you see my wife. 300lbs and could suck the chrome off my 1911.
jussayin mipeece so basically, she could suck start a Harley?
but will it blend
Rich people problems
Cyramex maybe he has family but they just get along, shit happens like that all the time
I can see why someone might think it a sad situation. He said on one hand the compound gave him so much joy & yet on the other, it was just too big & he didn't have anyone to give it to. Claude Smoot is
I swear the GTA V high-end garages were inspired by this guys garage. The floor in that garage is like a five-star hotel!
for someone who likes collecting cars it's gold but for a normal guy it's useless
People chasing material things.....will never be able to fill that void.
He was selling his house hence why the garage was emptied out he said he had loads of cars down there including a carrera gt stop reaching.
You can tell a guy is rich when he uses a Prevost bus as his standard measurement.
That's pretty cool. I can make my own batcave with that
now THATS a batcave
Here's an idea to blend in with the environment: don't build an obnoxious compound in the wilderness!
101010100101!!!!!!! Slay queeeeeeeen!??????????????
Man, I could have never sneaked out at night as a teen if my car was in this garage.
My biggest question is how do you get the cars out should the lift or elevator fail? If that's all you have then that may be an issue. If your land is a decent enough size a drive-in tunnel from surface to ground would be a good backup for that lift.

I am glad that before I read the comments i thought that who needs a garage like this one unless you are a billionaire obsessed with car collection
I don't understand the economics of how anyone worth less than 10x the price of this garage can make these numbers work. There isn't a business need to have an underground garage this big. How many people are worth 500+ million? It doesn't add up

This guy is the real batman
I've got a lot of cars too, and I've got a good solution for storing them. Just leave them outside. And no one would want to steal my cars since most of them don't run.
Mind blowing. Beautiful property.
Why have that huge garage with only a golf cart in it? Maybe he just moved all those expensive vehicles he talked about wanting to protect out of it to show how massive the garage is...idk
How can you not have a family that is interested. It's mind numbing beautiful
Why wouldn't you be interested? If someone's just going to give it to you?
I would live here forever.
I'll live with you!
1:21 Looks like GTA Online Garage LOL
Golly gee, Batman! Nice setup now to have a house underground like this would be awesome.
now you just need an elevator that doesn't close on you.
If you have billions on your account but no secret entrance to a "batcave" ? Then you sir, are spending your money wrong
This is perfect during tornado warnings.
I think he lives in the garage
I cant believe that isn't against code. Looks dangerous, like you could get crushed.
This is Bruce Wayne when he gets older.
It's like the green hornet/bat cave setup
Maybe sell it to the National Guard for an armory.
50 WHAT????????????? The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. What a planet.
Money doesn't buy happiness. But it does make it easy to hide happiness underground.
This is dangerous... what if a kid stumbled and has her head beheaded when the garage is going down?
Cool, But will it flood when there is heavy rain or it rains for a few or more days straight?
There's another tour of this place on million dollar rooms (search it) posted 2 months before this one.

This guy bought a fifth wheel from us
I knew that guy, trust me , the only thing about him worth admiring was his money.
i thought about buying this house. then I changed my mind and got a used double wide manufactured home instead
Sure because you could afford
that and if im wrong buy me this house ;)
I guarantee he'd trade that place to get his son back. Sad story for anyone from any walk of life. Family's worth more than money.
It'll be helpful if there was a link to the listing
did anyone else see the invisible guy?
and next were making a lower basement for oil tankers
If I had all of that, my gratitude would go through the roof. What a beautiful place. I certainly have an interest in it, if his family doesn't.
Looks like GTA Online!
Cool Garage!
And if you don't have the cars, just turn it into a rec room!
Who the hell needs that many cars?
Batman.
+studinthemaking ohhh yeah!
+kinghung23 Anyone who *wants* that many cars! Seems pretty simple.
What? Would *YOU* drive the same car in a month? How uncouth!
kinghung23 I've been known to say that it's probably good I don't have money, as I would fill up that garage space with vehicles that when combined, wouldn't be worth as much as a couple of the vehicles he has stored in that garage......as well as lifts and other tools for wrenching on them in comfort.
This is the guy that started the business where anyone can make $4k a week while you sit on the toilet in your own home.
I'd use it as a basketball court instead
Little weird setup but really cool still
homie lives at the Maze Bank tower in Los Santos

This guy looks like my doctor
amazing place to live and raise a family
anyone else got some gta vibes from the garage style?
That is on my bucket list to own a home like that.
cool garage, but im curious how much maintenance on it cost.
This dude has the baddest garage but where are his cars?
love his quote "ïts just to big" . Duh
It's nice to be rich but I can't help think of the kids in the US that depend on school lunches for their main meal of the day.
Huge garage
I have been saying we are wasting under ground and need to have under ground areas
How do you keep rain water from entering the elevator?
Is this a house for people or a garage for vehicles?
How many cars fit where? Or was it Greyhound busses and motorcycles?
Its like the gta v garage style!!
THis was around before the game came out, just look at the video date stamp.
i know right? get 4 stars after me and swoop! into the hidden garage. awesome.
when it looks just like the garage in GTA online
who the hell would wanna store thirty cars under ground?! If I could afford those many cars that's the last place I would want them.
Yet he only has a golf cart and a pick up truck in that garage.
Did you kill another perfectly good family? You can tell us.
this is like a gta 5 garage
That looks expensive
It's not disappearing; we all know where the cars go.
whats his adress? if theres ever soome apocalypse shit going down I wanna know a place that I can guaranteed get a car
i can guaranteed get a car in my drive way or the road, or wherever i look so
All that gold and no real treasure. Very sad.
'Thunderbirds are Go'!
This guy has more money than he knows what to do with.
This guy 'had' money and knew what to do with it.
Boy that looks like an old Nike base..
That's some batman next level shit!
