Finns love this song. Today we had a eurovision memory-evening at our national broadcast radio, and this song was one of the most loved. It`s amazing how our brothers estonians can compose year after year so beautiful songs.
Much loved song in Latvia too. I remember it being played on radio in English. I loved it so much I took Estonian classes as a free choice subject in University. I am pretty sure the teacher was called Maarje. ❤ My favourite, unfortunately I didn't learn it as well to be fluent.
I was there in the middle of the arena, just in front of the judges. For me it was the best performance of the night, with all those lights, so heartwarming! So happy to see Ivo again this year!
Estonia is amazing in Eurovision. Eesti Laul has always the best songs,the language is so beautiful plus I adore the Estonian artwork I have by a female artist that my mother got almost 30 years ago. But this has to be absoluetly the best Estonian entry. Love and kisses from Iceland.
As it deserved, so it got 12p from Suomi :) And as a finish speaker mentioned, it was the cutest song 1996. It was played a lot the summer then and even today you can hear it every now and then.

Maarja is such a beauty...I can remember the UK juries gave this song 10 points then 10 points again the next year for 'Keelatud maa' a clear favourite artist with UK...this was my favourite song after Gina G.
Wow … I could clearly see how Maarja-Liis was a bit nervous and somehow a bit stiff in the beginning - I guess she hasn’t been singing this song, or songs in general, as much as back then during the 90’s … but how wonderful wasn’t it to see her get carried away and bloom in and through this song towards the end. There’s some kind of pure, innocent magic about this song that catches the listener.
So good and to me Estonian Language seems to rival Romance languages like French Spanish Italian and Portuguese as the most beautiful language for Eurovision
