    Beautiful job you have done SWE Rider, congratulations, very professional video in terms of step by step and where and what to be done. I learn it the hard way with the previous model S1, I made 2,000 miles in a year on my way to work, rain or shine, the controller, the display and the battery got wet, the controller was damaged, had to be replaced and had to go thru all you have done at that time till 2 months ago when it stop working and decided to go for the S1 Pro model which just arrived after one month waiting, with the side light on the handles missing the same as yours, they haven't answer yet, but I just finish applying black silicone to the battery case and my suggestion is to use double side tape few lines to stick one side on the lower part of the battery to reduce the rattling and noise when going thru irregular surfaces and also put some silicone on the back where the spring is, even that it comes with a lot from the factory because when I took the battery out and look inside you could see tiny light spot at the end which tells you is not totally cover. Also I would suggest to cover with silicone the back light from underneath because with the vibration and water will stop working, I just bought a mud cover which had fit perfect, will protect it and will reduce to get mud on your back as well. www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=e-twow+fender&_sacat=0 they are actually from Sweden www.curiosjoe.se I have also found this protector which could be a good option but to expensive personalelectrictransport.co.uk/shop/accessories/e-scooters-accessories/e-twow-waterproof-handle-set/ but is an option as with this chinese toys water always finds its way thru.

      Thanks for the comment! My goal was not to waterproof, but kind of water resistance as I don't ride in the rain at all. I can imagine the work you have to do to make them drive-able in the rain. I was actually looking at the mud cover, but after a 100km on the Kugoo, I realized I was just going to get dusty no matter lol. I have 2 bigger scooters now, but still love packing it in a bag and heading downtown to cruise around. I have seen quite a few of the russian vids of them water/snow proofing. Once I get into a house with a garage I might attempt a more in-depth water proof. Thanks again, and ride safe!

      www.aliexpress.com/item/33042868065.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.5fa94c4dqYH6rS you might have to modify it. but it should stop the rattle they saying

      @@sweethoney4023 thanks for your suggestion but we were referring to the battery rattling inside the main case and in relation to the mud guard your option won't work on this model from Kugoo because has to be free as it works as a brake as well and it doesn't rattle at all. That is good for the Xiaomi. Thanks anyway

    Have you actually tested this in wet conditions?

    • @swerider2417
      @swerider2417  4 года назад

      No. The water sealing is more of a precaution in case I get caught in the rain. More to keep it dry till I can get to cover.

      SWE Rider ok 👌🏼 would you say there is any way to actually make it rain safe?

    • @swerider2417
      @swerider2417  4 года назад +1

      @@truthseeker2095 It should be possible, but the group of wires at base of stem(under folding section)drop right into the battery compartment. You would need to really hit those wires with sealant both outside and inside the compartment. Controller housing should be fairly easy, and you could shrink wrap the wires in there. The LCD/throttle, is tricky as you can not put sealant on the throttle or brake, so I would still carry a plastic bag to cover in the rain. Possible, but you would have to be meticulous about sealing where the wires enter.
