As much as I love Oud & Rose, I don’t see anything ever surpassing Luna. That is one hell of an art masterpiece, astonishing, mesmerizing, and beautiful.
Great breakdown! I haven't tried Onyx, but I went all in on Onyx Extreme and got a 50ml. It's very good quality. A very Rose forward fragrance. It's super smooth and the sweetness is very well done where it's a great supporting note to just elevate the whole thing. Side note : I got Anubis today and it's amazing! Great recommendation. It's like a super clean fabric softener with fruit notes and some spice. I LOVE it. Sad it's discontinued. Also Maxaroma actually sent me a notorious sample which blew my mind since I didn't think they had any ATH samples. notorious is a much cleaner smell than I figured it would be. I like it a lot and I put Notorious much higher on my ATH to buy list now.
My man! I’m glad you love Anubis! It is sad that it has been discontinued. You actually have something very special because Aaron created that for his brother. He wanted to make something special for him. Notorious is a fantastic one as well and deserves to be on your whiffs list for sure. And onyx extreme…beautiful!
Fantastic breakdown. It reminds me of the time I went white water rafting and broke down in tears because I went Without A Paddle. I ended being rescued by a guy dressed as Santa, but then he pushed me back into the River…. I guess he was a Bad Santa 🎅
Had to come back and revisit this video today because I just got my 10ml of this in the mail today. Sadly, I was saving what I figured would be the best for last and I totally killed my nose before I got to it. Took me over an hour to even smell it after I sprayed it. lol. Now that I can smell it a bit, I'm liking it. It's like Toy Boy's cool uncle that would sneak the kids booze at the family reunion, then did a bid in jail for selling unstamped cigarettes across state lines. Anyway, I'll have to come back to it later once I can really smell it to see how crazy it gets then.

It’s elitist. But then, given that we’re focusing on ATH’s fragrances I guess we’re all a little elitist here. Such good stuff!
Luna is a lot more on the gourmand side as Onyx Extreme is rich with sweet Ouds, opulent rose & vanilla. I’m putting together a review of all his Rose Ouds and it will be out middle of next week.

There are plenty of oud/rose combinations, but this one is so beautifully blended, it's an extraordinary fragrance.
I completely agree with your take, it’s base heavy, sits a bit closer to the skin, and leaves an intoxicating, wonderfully blended scent trail

Luna is really really good.. but onyx is better. Stronger. Definitely going your nose on forbidden too

I have an old bottle of Arabica. I love it so so so much. Soft warm comforting lavender with a good real coffee note. Blended superb.

It’s not predominant. More on the rose and all the fruits play supporting roles. This is much more focused on the Rose & Oud.
