How to Clean RV Awning Fabric

This video shows how to clean an RV awning. It is a quick, simple guide, and the steps involved can be applied to various awning types, including motorhome awnings, travel trailer awnings and other camper awnings.
In this video, we will cover the tools and materials needed to clean your RV awning - no special RV cleaner needed! You just need a ladder, a 5-gallon bucket of clean water, an extended bristle brush and dish soap.
To clean your RV awning, begin by mixing the dish soap into the bucket of water. Then, fully extend the RV or camper awning. Use the ladder to reach the top side of the awning and apply a generous layer of the soap mixture with your bristle brush. Next, roll the awning back up and let it sit for five minutes. Finally, extend the awning back out and rinse the soapy mixture with a hose. Repeat this as many times as needed until the awning is clean.
