The dry hitch weight from Winnebago on this trailer is 660 pounds. You would have to load everything directly over the ball to reach 2000 pounds hitch weight. Still, a 3/4 ton truck would be the appropriate tow vehicle. Azdel is a must for travel trailers having seen many top brand older trailers with delaminated side walls. Very nice floor plan.
Just bought one if these a month ago and my family of 4 loves it. Tons of room bring friends. Love the videos and appreciate all the knowledge and tips you have given everyone. Much love
I have a 2021 Voyage 3235rl . These are great TT. The only thing I found that I dislike is there isn’t any plugs or USB plugs in the bedroom. The only one they installed is in the aft ceiling area for the TV. I have already bought two plugs with USB connections and plan on installing them soon. The 3235rl has an island and a frog that is twice as big as this one. Ours doesn’t have bunks. But great upgrade for people who want to get a larger unit that you can still plug with a 1/2 ton.
One day im probably going to end up bumping into you at that rv lot lol. Husband and I are currently shopping around for a travel trailer at the different rv lots here in the coastal bend. thank you so much for all your videos. Because of you I know what not to tow on my f150!
Nice review, and I'm glad you had positive things to say about the Winnebago Voyage! I bought a 2020 Voyage 3235RL early last year, and I'm really happy with it so far. What attracted me to the Voyage is that it has a lot of "big RV" features in a lighter unit. I love the height and width, which make it feel like a bigger RV. The fridge, bathroom, and bedroom are fully accessible with the slides closed when traveling. The only thing I would change is to add a bedroom slide for a little more floor space, but that would increase the weight and cost.
8100lbs dry with a 850lb empty tongue.definitely the largest/heaviest version of what’s become a common floor plan. But it has some features that comparable models don’t have like 30lb LP tanks and a 10gal water heater. It’s also a few feet longer than most of the others. I’d buy it.
As always JD excellent review. Saw something that was odd in my opinion and that was the side. As you walked inside the door I saw what looked like day light coming from the slide out wall. It appeared to be significant which might let in insects or other critters. Thank you again for all your reviews enjoy them.
Nice TT for a family with kids, we have a 37' Jayco it's just my wife and I, our grandkids said that they want to come with us sometimes and we tell them that our 37' Jayco our sleep two, lol. That is one of the nice one that I have seen but it's not for us.
The vent is not determinative. Check out some of Hayley’s Jayco Eagle HT FW reviews. They seem to be putting vents into everything, regardless of which fridge they put in. (I had a few exchanges with Josh in the comments, because he didn’t notice the events at first.) I’m assuming the manufacturers are building the walls the same way, and then shipping out the fridges per order based on availability, rather than holding up trailers based on supply.
@@forthguy Yup, you're right. Just checked their site and this is a 10 cubic foot 12V. I know styles have changed quite a bit with absorption fridges. Figured it was one of them with the vent.
A nice one in side and out I've been following a rv channel park way rv center leaned something about this brand u can buy 80 percent of the the parts which is nice in case u didn't know
@@davidireland3777 when equalizer bars are used, the suspension on the tow vehicle are under much less strain. In fact you can bring the ride height of the tow vehicle back to normal.
I've noticed in your walkthrough videos that you almost always say that the sale price will be "much/significantly/way" lower than MSRP. I've never bought a new RV. Could you elaborate on what the sale prices usually are discounted? Is it some range like 10%-30%? I realize that it will depend on what you are buying, and how in-demand the model may be at the time, but I am still curious. You have far more XP in this than I. ;)
Nice TT. The only 2 things I would change is, lose the theater seating for a sofa bed and replace the bunks forna whole rear bathroom and maybe a queen size bed for more walk around space.

My model has the washer/dryer in the bedroom
The space under the bunks is just right kids shoes & toys. Personally we prefer a bunk room
Wish you would’ve showcased that Rockwood Mini Lite in the background.

Nice upper-end TT coach.
Would be a perfect upgrade from our Keystone Springdale…time for that Silverado 2500!
Very nice unit. I could do without the bunks and enlarged the bathroom.
Exactly what I was going to say!
Would like to see you do toyhaulers bumper and 5th wheel
Hey Big Truck & Big RVs
Thank You Big Truck & Big RVs
Those cabinets on each side of the bed looks like they will bust your head wide open
Haha that’s funny, I am planning to look at one of these today 😂 Same model even! Pretty sure that’s a 12V fridge though, not a gas/electric.
It's probably 12vt but I usually look at the exterior vent to determine.
Has a vent for the fridge on the exterior. Definitely gas.

There are no fins in the fridge. Its a 12 volt

Are you sure thats an outside kitchen? It looks like its right where the storage space is under the bunkhouse.
Can A MAxx Fan be installed in the bathroom with the weather guard?
Just a video suggestion. How much weight is taken off the “hitch weight”, when equalizer bars are used. Tks.
100-200 lbs depending on initial hitch weight. Not super significant though.

what do you feel is the best 21'-22' ft travel trailer AND the best awd(4x4) rv (doesnt matter diesel or gas)?
something's seems wrong with the ceiling of the slide.

Sure about that? Some of the new RV fridges don’t have the black vent in the back of the fridge. Josh the RV nerd show cases that a few weeks ago.
@@davidireland3777 yup, I'm sure, there were no blades in that fridge, so couldn't have been gas electric absorption fridge.
