    The heart of palm noodles and rice is best when you rinse it a ton… then I boil it in water until tender… like pasta, just cook until your preference. Yes, it says just to heat, but I only like it boiled a bit. Then drain and add to your dish… I never do it plain, but add to stir fry or pasta sauce and meat. Great way to save on points. ☺️

    I’m glad I found your channel! Recently decided to get back into WW and you have already given me so many great ideas. I love how you waste no time getting right to the foods & your creativity with incorporating more whole foods.
    The heart of palm pasta is great, it has a slight artichokey flavor so i usually make it with pesto sauce. Trader joe’s also has riced heart of palm that i’ve mixed in with some actual fried rice & it worked great as well!

    I like the pal mini noodles and rice when I want to save points for pasta. I agree. Rinse well and cook a tad

    Girl!!!!!! Hahaeee I was just thinking about you chica ! I just started my WW last week after falling and failing. I Just signed back up so was looking for ya! I’ve been loving mini cucumbers sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning. Yummy snack. Hope your well God Bless 🙏❣️

      Girl, life is crazy lately! Sooooo busy at work, so by the time I get home, I'm just exhausted! But I just LOVE doing these videos and love the family we have here, so I keep trying to get the videos up when I can. And ooohhhhh, cucumbers with the everything bagel seasoning sounds so good!! We've been air frying zucchini and squash at work the last couple weeks and I sprinkle some of it on them - sooo good!! And don't think of it as failures - just life! ;) We got this!!       Enjoyed your video. Good grocery haul. I know what your saying when the bags you put in your car sure don't look like what you spent. But I guess it depends on what you buy. It is not hard to spend a good bit when you are eating healthy. God Bless

      Right? Don't get me wrong. I LOVE me some fresh mushrooms but canned are great in some recipes or just in a pinch. 😉

    How do you cook your zucchini?

      I do it different each time. I sometimes will just toss it in a pan with a little cooking spray and a drizzle of olive oil. If I'm baking something in the oven, then I'll roast it right in the oven (seasoned and drizzle of olive oil). Or one thing we've been doing is cooking it in the air fryer at work. We've all been bringing a bunch of veggies to work lately and we'll slice up the zucchini and yellow squash, add a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, and just put it in the air fryer for maybe 7 to 10 minutes (depending on how much you like it cooked), and then I sprinkle a little Everything Bagel Seasoning over it. Soooo good!!
