You can go to this place anytime of the year. I went in January and again in the middle of June. If you plan to go by bike then try to go before August so that you can ride through Bengaluru Mysuru expressway. From 1st August 2 wheelers will not be allowed on the expressway

It's a random place on the expressway, not sure of the name. The exit will be shown clearly in Google maps :)

Yes it's a one day trip from Bangalore, can be spread out over two days as well.
The alternate route for bikers is via NH 948 via Kanakpura.
