Why go with a color scheme that has nothing to do with the franchise, no attachment with the fanbase, and nothing to do with Utah? You threw purple in because everyone hated the rebrand when it leaked. Purple/blue/white. It was so simple, and instead we went with colors that have never been used and slapped them on a jersey in the most bland way possible.
I said the same thing. They leaked those ugly ass jerseys and got so much hate that they brought the best jersey back to make up for it, Ryan Smith already proving to be a worthless owner, paying gobert a super max, making quin get fed up with not making roster moves and leaving and now the worst rebrand in all of sports. If I was Mitchell I would put in my request, I would refuse to play in that puke

Allegedly they wanted to rebrand to black/white but Nike said it looks too much like the Nets & Spurs. So they added the yellow.
It's because Utah is called "The Beehive State".

Why would you destroys the Jazz’s entire heritage for black and neon yellow. We don’t have much as a fan base outside of our history and our beloved mardi gras color scheme and they just crapped all over it. Ryan Smith if you wanted to put your mark on the team this was the worst possible way to do it. Nobody wanted a color change, if anything they wanted you to bring back the more traditional color way, and I just don’t understand why you would do this.
I love it, and I think a lot of fans will be pleasantly surprised when they see the yellow/black on that black-theme home court for the first time

@@WestBrick2Utah I feel like it doesn't matter these days. NBA teams wear away jerseys at home while visiting teams wear alt jerseys. It's a funky time for jersey designs. Traditional Home/Away standards are out the window.

A lot of people already hate these, but I love the modern and minimalistic design. I think it'll look a lot better in game, especially with the new court. I especially like the white ones with the Jazz note, underrated.
Not every franchise can pull off the minimalistic look though, as you can see with Utah

Honestly the colors are fine. I think it’s the font for the numbers and letters. I change in that could make them solid. Reminds me when Memphis went from their Beale Street font to the minimal ones.

Hideous apart from purple. They rolled them out even with the general consensus being please don't, not them. It makes most of my gear now non applicable as the 3 new schemes have none of the old Jazz DNA. Feeling Disappointed is an understatement.
