Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela awarded freedom of the city posthumously

The City of Johannesburg posthumously conferred the Freedom of the City Award on the late apartheid stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
It’s the highest award the council can confer on any individual or group. Mama Winnie's daughters accepted the award.
