To answer your questions:
Firstly, because Sonic and Amy have switched places, Sonic uses his speed to be hyper and all excited around Amy! It’s very cute how jittery he acts when he’s around her.
Second, since Amy has taken Sonic’s place, she is significantly more bothered and aggrivated than how she typically appears in all the rest of the Sonic games in the past.
Lastly, the camera zooms into Big at the end.
You’re probably just messin’ with me with these questions, but I thought that this was really interesting! ^-^
A. Amy looks a bit more annoyed than Sonic ever was without reversed roles.
B. As Sasso keeps going through endless portals he realizes the twists and turns in each universe he heads to. But for about 2 minutes.😁

I like this reverse relationship better than the actual one throughout the games. Seeing Sonic trying to win Amy's heart but she's just too cool for him seems so much better in my opinion.
In the case of the Sonic franchise, it could use that change you mentioned. Although I don't agree, because I'm fed up with seeing it.
However, the actual trophy of the girl who sends the male lead to the Friendzone, or a male character in general, is pretty cliche outside of the Sonic franchise.
And used ad nauseam both in Japanese Animes, as in American Cartoons and even in Hollywood movies with or without Feminist Agenda.
Yeah I kinda like this version better too lol.

It may be cliché for the Sonic franchise that Sonic sent Amy to the Friendzone the vast majority of the time.
Because outside of that franchise, both in *Japanese Anime,* as well as in *American Cartoons, Hollywood Movies,* even in *Real Life,* it is super cliché that a woman sent a man to the Friendzone, and even more so that the woman hit the man or for the woman to slap that man in form of rejection.
In the only animes where I have seen that the man sends the girl to the Friendzone, and where the man hits the girls back, they are: *"Cautious Hero", "Aho Girl"* and *"Magical No Index", "The Rising Of The Shield Hero"* and stopped counting.
