- The Gorges de la Bourne is a stunning balcony road along the river La Bourne, on the D531 in France. To me, these balcony roads are engineering marvels and always amazing to drive!

Beautiful Road and lovely scenery
Lovely road - thanks. I've ridden it many times on motorcycles. One of my favorite European hotels is in Rencurel (the Hotel Marronnier) - and the Tunnel des Ecouges is not to be missed. Unless you're claustrophobic. I still remember my first ride through - I was not expecting the experience.
Had the same experience. I came out of bright sunlight into the tunnel. For a second or two it was almost nauseating because it was so pitch black that I lost all orientation. Then the headlights came on.

No that's water :-) I have a microphone in the frunk which isn't insulated.
